Both Tyler and Kendall were excellent. They were friendly, patient, and responsive to customer needs without being pushy. Tyler was the salesman we started with and he listened to what we wanted a friendly, patient, and responsive to customer needs without being pushy. Tyler was the salesman we started with and he listened to what we wanted and did his best to find the exact preferences in the car. Ultimately we found the best option for us was to go up a trim level for a car that was available on the lot. Kendall took us on test drives and did a wonderful job answering our questions and showing us the features. He also checked in on us when we were in the dealership working with Tyler. If every car salesman were like these two, people would certainly enjoy the car buying process more than they do now! Bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. More

My experience with David Stanley Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Norman - the why is I found a vehicle online this past Saturday evening that I liked. I requested more detail and pictures of this truck. I am lookin Norman - the why is I found a vehicle online this past Saturday evening that I liked. I requested more detail and pictures of this truck. I am looking for a used four wheel drive pick up truck, put in my request and called it an evening. Approximately 7:30 am PT SUNDAY morning (we live approximately 1500 miles from the dealership in CA), I received a call from Joshua Caldwell saying he would take pictures of the vehicle on Monday, since the dealership was closed on Sunday. I already knew their hours of operation. I didn't expect anything until Monday. Later that day, I received an email from Joshua Caldwell and he said, "... Thank you for choosing our dealership. I know you have many other choices. Because you have chosen us, we will do what it takes to earn your business, we certainly don't expect it. On Sundays we spend time with our families. I will take photos of the Ram 3500 first thing Monday morning." Not the best way in the world to start a business relationship but I figured I'd give them a shot to see if we get pictures. Monday rolls around, no pictures. Later Monday afternoon, I again emailed a request for pictures/details, I received a good response from Troy Corley saying he'd take some pictures later that day. Fine. I also emailed directly from their website and received a response from Marshall Towler saying he was willing to help. Approximately 4:30 PM PT the pictures come in. The description of the truck was "bright white" with vinyl seats. I received pictures of a blue 3500 Dodge pick up that was completely disgustingly dirty on the exterior. One picture of the interior looked like someone had been living in it. This truck was nowhere near presentable for sale. As I sat and looked at the descriptions, pictures, and CarFax, I figured Troy took a picture of the wrong truck. I emailed him back saying I'm confused, is this a white or blue truck? I never heard from Troy again. On Tuesday, Mr. Towler requested that I forward an email of the pictures that we were sent on his personal email account which I received early that morning. Didn't hear back from anyone. Later in the day, I asked for an update. Mr. Towler responded oh, when your email came in, I was in the middle of selling the truck. (Interesting, odd, are we trying to hide something here?) This truck was still listed for sale after it was "sold". Here I'm an internet customer looking to buy a truck, cash, and can't get basic information, a clarification if this truck was white or blue, and a few other questions answered. So, needless to say, I was upset. I emailed Matt Baker, the general manager, with my complaints about his staff's customer service, lack of professionalism, looking for his response. I also mentioned that I spotted the same truck, same ad, same wrong information, newly listed on two separate websites that day. I look at 8 different websites, twice daily, looking for the right vehicle. This is how serious of a buyer I am. I have never heard from Matt Baker. But, on one of the websites, they have a "report fraud" section, which I mentioned to Mr. Baker. It was extremely interesting, Wednesday morning, I went online early and that truck disappeared from that website, but was still on the other two websites. Could you possibly screw up a deal any worse than this? I think you would be hard pressed to come up with a comparable story. I kept copies of everything during this deal because it was so bad and so unprofessional; it was beyond belief. When a customer makes an inquiry, generally a business does their utmost to respond to that customer in a positive manner. As I told Matt Baker, I work for a company that is a $5B corporation. Ethics was driven into us a long time ago. They actually have an 800 number for ethics violations in my company. This would never, ever be tolerated. My company is not perfect, but as the old saying goes, a customer is always right. We live by that. We take care of our customers. We make high end products, and sales and service keeps us afloat. The service is beyond what most companies consider reasonable. So if you're an internet customer, do yourself a favor, and do not stop here. You can see from my experience, it was very frustrating and left a very bitter experience in my mind trying to do business with David Stanley. In re-reading the CarFax on this truck, it had four owners - the first owner owned the truck almost 7 years; second owner had it for just over 2 years; third owner had it for 2 months; the fourth owner had it for one month, before it became a dealer vehicle in July of 2013. When the vehicle was placed on the market on 2/6/2014, mysteriously the vehicle had been driven 33,811 in 8 months while supposedly in the sales yard. So, when a wrong description shows up and they say it was inadvertently the wrong color listed on the sales description, what is the truth. I never knew what the VIN was for the blue truck (I asked for it). So, to say at least, the situation is extremely highly questionable. That wrong description went from their website to other sales websites with the exact same WRONG description being used. That was not a mistake. So do they have a totally inept internet sales group. It took until Thursday of this week to be removed from the last two websites. It was just a horrendous mess of a deal that went totally bad. This has prompted me to write this very long review. I had one vehicle I was bidding on in Texas. The dealer called and told me that they were reviewing the vehicle and didn't feel comfortable selling it because it had too many issues. That dealer received a very favorable review from me. I appreciate their honesty, clarity and they have earned a customer that will always look at their site first on the internet when I am searching for a vehicle. Do yourself a favor - just bypass this company and find yourself a more ethical dealership to work with. More
We could not be any happier with the experience involved with purchase of our new card at David Stanley Dodge in Norman. The car we wanted had to be found at another dealership and modified the way we want with purchase of our new card at David Stanley Dodge in Norman. The car we wanted had to be found at another dealership and modified the way we wanted it after it had arrived. The sales staff, particularly Brian Black, kept us informed as to the progress and when we could expect to have our new car. After we drove the car, we requested a few minor changes and the dealership was most accommodating. Sara Bush was very responsive to our questions regarding the features of the car and explained everything very thoroughly. I would recommend both the salesman and the dealership to friends and family or anyone for that matter! We had purchased a 2011 Dodge Charger and 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 from the former owner and were pleased that the new owner (David Stanley) retained our favorite service representative, Antonio. More
My experience at this dealership was fantastic! I pulled in and Kendall asked me what I was looking for, and took me right to the truck that had what I asked. We ended up going on a test drive which was go in and Kendall asked me what I was looking for, and took me right to the truck that had what I asked. We ended up going on a test drive which was good. Afterward He asked what my terms were to get in that truck that day so I told him and he went to work. Came back with a great offer and they worked with me on it. The truck has been fantastic thus far and Im definitely gonna be back in the future. They even sent a tin with cookies as a congratulatory/ thankful gesture which was nice as well. More
Very positive experience. We initially stopped to look at a truck, but ended up with a beautiful 2014 Charger. Troy Corley made this purchase incredibly easy and I would (already have) recommend anyone g at a truck, but ended up with a beautiful 2014 Charger.
