This review is for one particular person and not the entire dealership. I recently leased a new Landrover, my 4th over the past 11 years. Please beware of the finance director Amir Mansour. When I initi entire dealership. I recently leased a new Landrover, my 4th over the past 11 years. Please beware of the finance director Amir Mansour. When I initially refused to purchase any of the service packages, Amir came in the room to apply some more pressure and attempt to close me. I'm in sales and have no issue with someone doing their best to close a deal, however Amir flat out lied to my face. He actually told me if I do not purchase their service plan, I'll have a hard time turning in the vehicle after the lease because Chase has a policy of discounting the value based upon not servicing at a dealership. He said they called it "Diminished Value" and tried to scare me by saying I would have to buy my lease or pay money on the turn-in. I knew right away he was lying. I stated I've had several leases through Chase and have never in my life heard of this and asked him to please show me where it stated this information. He said it was on the back of my lease. I said great, please show it to me and then he started to stumble on his words, talking fast, trying to work his way out of the lie. He went on to say oh it says it in your owner's manual that you must service the car and I said yes, I understand the car must be serviced according to the manufacturers recommendations however, that does not mean it's required to be serviced at a dealership. He then got flustered and left the room and never returned. I could not believe what had just happened and told the finance person I was working with how disgusted I was with that experience. I then had to go out and tell my very nice sales person Pooya what had happened and that basically the excitement of purchasing a new car was gone and now all I remember about the experience was this person lying to my face. I try very hard not to write negative reviews, as I do not want to hurt anyone's business, however, I felt it was my obligation to inform anyone purchasing/leasing a car from this dealership to be aware of this and do not let Amir scare you into purchasing anything you are not wanting to purchase. I assure you this review is 100% accurate, as the other finance person was in the room as well. Any response to this review stating I was incorrect would also be a lie. Amir, please remember it takes years to build a great reputation and only a few moments to ruin it. I have dealt with your dealership for many years from Encino to now and in that one moment you have ruined their reputation for me. Be better than that Amir, sell your products using honest techniques. If someone buys great, if not, move on. More
Alex Guzman was our sales representative and he walked us through the Land Rover Brand. We were able to view and test drive different vehicles. I am disheartened by the Land Rover brand because I made two calls to get the Land Rover finance and the technology associate that assisted me with the Land Rover app. Considering how much detail Land Rover puts into each showroom, and vehicle, the same attention to detail should be given to the employees that represent the brand. I have no names to add to this review other than the sales representative, because I made two calls to Land Rover Woodland and they left me without the names of individuals that assisted me through the process. Land Rover you can and should be doing better! I love my car but wish that the Brand would see the employees as an extension of the Brand. I know each individual I worked with took pride in working for the Land Rover/ Jaguar brand and would’ve liked for them to be acknowledged in this review. More
