It wasn't even looked at for over two weeks). Once they determined what the problem was they said they could install the starter but would have to back order the ignition dock. It could take weeks we were told. We finally got our vehicle fixed because my husband located a part at a dealership in Indiana and had it shipped to us. We delivered the part in three days and the dealership installed for us. However, because we didn't wait weeks for the part to come from God knows where they tacked on an extra $200 plus dollars to labor because it was not their part. I questioned why they did not locate the part as easily as my husband had and we were told that they do not like dealer to dealer transactions because there is no money in it. So apparently they would rather I be without a vehicle for weeks on end rather than order the same part from a Land Rover dealership that had the part in stock. Then to add insult to injury they tack on an additional $240 because we didn't buy the part from them. Unbelievable. I was contacted to take a survey and I honestly told them that I could not give them a positive review. The service manager, Adam Bouchard, was supposed to give us a call according to the person I was communicating with. We have yet to hear from Adam and the person who reached out wanting a positive survey has not responded to our emails of late either. I wish I had my car towed to the Macomb Land Rover dealership rather than the Troy dealership when my car broke down in July. More
I want to give a huge KUDOS to Mike Steele for his helpfulness! I have been having a difficult time trying to locate a new headlamp assemby for my 2019 Velar due to a National backorder on the part. helpfulness! Lack of customer care, unprofessional and not to be trusted. I had a timing chain issue due to a bad oil change at a non Range Rover dealership (solution serviced by Macomb dealer - highly recommend). trusted. I had a timing chain issue due to a bad oil change at a non Range Rover dealership (solution serviced by Macomb dealer - highly recommend). The timing chain issue caused me to try and be safe and bring my car in early for an oil change. I worked with 2 men both named Brandon. When I received my car back it did not have a sticker so I called the dealership to ask at what mileage I should come back. After not answering and taking weeks to follow up they gave me the same number the Macomb dealership gave me when the car had 4K less miles. With this being my first Range Rover I did not understand they are recommended to go up to 10k miles or one year between changes (the one thing they did help me with after the fact). After seeing the same mileage it lead me to question why and call the dealership, after another week or two I finally got a response from Adam. He treated me like a toddler who didn’t get a sticker not someone who is wanting to understand if I even needed an oil change and if so why they wouldn’t have questioned it and asked me if I really wanted one. Adam kept talking about his personal opinions on the Jeep he owns and how he services his vehicle. I no longer trust the Troy dealership after being treated this way, I wish I would have waited a few days more and went to the Macomb dealership. More

Melissa was super helpful to me this past Saturday, even taking me one hour before my scheduled appt time, which I was quite grateful for. She was kind & patient & most helpful.
