I was looking for a late model LR3, although hadn't spent much time researching the vehicle prior to my first visit Land Rover of Sudbury. I met with Mike Fleming, who was happy to show me the extensive selection of these vehicles. We took a test drive, and Mike quickly impressed me with his knowledge of the vehicle and ability to answer all my questions. But what I was most impressed with was Mike's approach. There was no pressure. He simply explained the pricing policy, and let the decision up to me. He followed up with me in an appropriate manner, again, with no pressure. I did some further investigation on my own, and when I saw the exact vehicle I wanted on the web site, I stopped in and purchased the LR3. Overall, I would highly recommend this dealership. I traded in a 2004 landrover discovery for a lease on a 2011 LR4. the disco was on the fritz, but got good value ($7000 trade in). With $2K down + plus trade in i was able to get the monthly payment down t 2011 LR4. the disco was on the fritz, but got good value ($7000 trade in). With $2K down + plus trade in i was able to get the monthly payment down to $491. I would have given the experience a a more solid rating however there was "miscommunication" between the amount down and trade in value that would lead to $491/month payment. apparently start-up costs + some additional costs required me to pay another $2K to keep the rate at $491. we were able to renegotiate by increasing the trade in value to $7500 and providing some discount on the start up costs, but i still had to pay additional $1584 in order to get the $491 price (this includes the first months payment). dissapointing but i feel there was an honest miscommunication and the dealership tried to accomodate me after they realized the screw up. nevertheless i had to come to the table with and extra $1584 in "hidden" costs in order to get the deal. so left a bad taste in my mouth. mike flemming was great; clearly this was a back office issue. the quality of the car really makes up for the above experience. I had a pleasant experience @ LR Sudbury. My brother in law had purchased his two cars from LR Sudbury and he recommended that I should buy my vehicle from here too. Although, I live in Albany I drove up t law had purchased his two cars from LR Sudbury and he recommended that I should buy my vehicle from here too. Although, I live in Albany I drove up to the dealership for my LR3. Mike Fleming at the dealership helped me out in finding the right vehicle for me at a fair price. Steve J worked hard to get a price that was agreeable to us both. He went the extra mile to get signatures on the contract by driving and hour and a half at 6 am. He delivered what he promised. I purchased my first Disco used from Metro West, and found myself dealing with their service department much more than I would have realized. It was always difficult to get a timely appointment, and th found myself dealing with their service department much more than I would have realized. It was always difficult to get a timely appointment, and the commute from Boston was not an easy one. Eventually, the friendly, helpful person I usually dealt with in service left the dealership. Thereafter, it just became an expensive hassle. Finally, after waiting more than two weeks for an appointment and receiving what seemed like an outrageous repair, I called Land Rover Peabody. Their service department was responsive, friendlier and it turned out, much more affordable for maintenance. Much to my delight, I found out that the original salesman whom I dealt with at Metro West, Rusty, was now at the Peabody dealership. Despite my purchase from his former employer, Rusty always takes care of me and sees that the service department does too. More
Steve was straight forward and honest. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cars. Folks were proud of the product but not pushy.
