Land Rover of Hanover Is Terrible I brought my Range Rover in for Service. When I drove home from a $250 oil change (new car) The check engine light went on. I have been in the dealers I brought my Range Rover in for Service. When I drove home from a $250 oil change (new car) The check engine light went on. I have been in the dealership twice now, had to leave the car and the light comes on immediately after I leave. In May I have had to leave my vehicle 3 times at this dealership. I comes back dirty each time and after each appointment the check engine light(s) go on like a Christmas tree lighting. I brought the car back in on May 21 2014 and they kept it for 2 days. When I went to find out what was wrong (after no call back) they told me to expect the lights to come back on. They were laughing and shaking their head when describing this and saying they have not see this before. The car was perfect before I had it serviced. Now the check engine lights keep going on and they tell me to go ahead and drive it. I have a 19 year old and a 17 year old. Not the car you want to put your kids in. This dealer is the worst high end dealer I have ever dealt with. Several of the best are right in their neighborhood. Prime, BMW of Norwell, and Prime/Delany GMC. All three spoiled us with excellent customer service. I would not purchase another car from Land Rover of Hanover. They are rude, arrogant, and have no idea how to fix a car. They encouraged me to use a car that was sending safety messages out that said not to drive the car, but because they were busy, they told me to "Drive it ANYWAY" I think GM did that and it cost people their lives. That was the recommendation from the service professionals at Land Rover of Hanover. They don't care about their customers safety!!! More
Glenn and James connected the entire experience together between Sales and Service. We have purchased 6 or 7 cars from Land Rover Hanover. I cannot fault them in any area; whether it be sales (Craig/Mike), service (Joe) or customer service (Jame/Gerry). The buying experience at Land Rover Hanover is as exceptional as the cars they sell. As an automobile enthusiast, the first time I enter a dealership, I prepare myself to be underwhelmed. At Land Rover Hanover, that feeling disappears during the first 5 minutes. More importantly, my experience kept getting better. Michael Feit and Craig Schuman know their product inside and out. As importantly, they're professional, personable and a pleasure to deal with. No doubt they love what they do, and believe in the products they sell. They were conscientious and diligent about allowing the most money possible for my trade in. Throughout the process I trusted they'd deliver on their commitments, and they did. Their product knowledge made the delivery process awesome. I drove home feeling comfortable about how everything worked, which made the ride home that much sweeter. It was by far the most enjoyable automobile purchasing experience I've ever had. They set a very high bar, and reminded me that the experience of buying a car can be positive and powerful. No doubt, I'll drop by to say hello, and will recommend them and Land Rover Hanover to friends and family looking for a new automobile. Thanks Gentleman! More
Absolutely unacceptable customer service! My husband and I are looking for a small size SUVs for me. We test drove cars from BMW, Audi, and Lexus last weekend, there were some nice cars but haven't found " I are looking for a small size SUVs for me. This afternoon I was looking forward to test drive the Range Rover Evoque. I did a lot of research and was certain this is the car for me. We drove to Land Rover in Hanover - it was rainy and there were no customers in the dealership except me and my husband. We walked into the dealership, no one greet us. Nada. We stood there for good several minutes. All the salesman seems to be too busy chatting with each other. My husband finally said "Hello, we're looking for a small size SUV and would like to test drive the Evoque." A salesman finally came up to us and said "Ok, this is a $50k car, are you sure this car is in your price range?" --- My husband answered him nicely that "Yes we are". But I was thinking "Excuse me?? ALL the cars we test drove were at or higher than $50k. I wouldn't be looking at cars at this price range unless we intend to buy one." Is this how Land Rover greet their customer?? Totally rude and unacceptable. OK, we test drove the Evoque, as much as I hate the customer service, I really like the car, even more than the Q5. We went back to the dealer and that salesman had no intention to sale us the car, he did not invite us back to his desk, he just left us in the lobby. He did not even ask for our name or contact information. I had to ask him "I like the car, can we talk about options and price?" --- Then, finally we sat down and I asked him for his name. Craig Schuman, he said he's a 'silver' salesman and that he's been working at this dealer for 10+ years and how great he is... I want to throw up. Anyway, I told him I wanted an Evoque in white, premium with navigation, black leather interior, cold weather and park assist package -- he said don't have any in stock. He only has one 2014, with a lighter color interior. We took a look at that car. Nope...I still prefer the black. Craig pretty much said "Come back when you decide to buy" --- Again, are you serious? It is a 2014 Evoque, you could have easily asked us to build one ON THE SPOT. But no.... Nothing. My husband and I decided to leave. Land Rover Hanover does NOT want our business....Fine. We'll buy our car elsewhere. I told my sister this story, she said she was going to look at Land Rover but after my experience, she'll look at Lexus instead. And I will also tell my friends and family about my experience at Land Rover Hanover. Land Rover Hanover - this is NOT how you treat your customers. You just lost our business to bad customer service. More
