Where shall I start? The first couple of phone calls that I made and spoke to a sales rep called Jhul Escriba was very pleasant. The range rover that I was looking at to purchase cash was in the service dep I made and spoke to a sales rep called Jhul Escriba was very pleasant. The range rover that I was looking at to purchase cash was in the service department for over a week. I asked for photos as soon as possible so that I could fly up and get the car. When the car got out of the service the tone changed from the sales rep. He sounded very annoyed with me but I actually was interested in purchasing this car.. We thought that it would be better to speak with the manager of sales at Land Rover Hanover, my husband and I called a total of three times, with no return phone call. I will say in my experience this is been the worst experience that I have ever experienced in a car dealership. If you make that much money and don’t care about clients then I guess this is how you treat them. Don’t buy a car from this place. Oh and by the way, as we were going to fly up to purchase the car we asked for the service records for this range rover, they never produced it, which means they were probably hiding something. More
I have owned 5 Range Rovers from Land Rover Hanover and they are awesome with their Service Department. They are timely and explain the work before they perform it. Tom took care of me very well, was able to get loaner and return by 645pm. However was a bit surprised to see a coupon for service (exactly what I did) arrive in mail *the next day* after I paid a premium fo return by 645pm. I had my LR4 towed (AAA $136.00)to the dealership on Monday 10/21, I spoke with Tom in service to let him know it was coming and he informed me that things were busy and it might be a day or two before Monday 10/21, I spoke with Tom in service to let him know it was coming and he informed me that things were busy and it might be a day or two before it would be looked at and I was perfectly ok with that giving the fact that I had no previous appointment. On Friday late afternoon Tom called me 10/25 to tell me that they couldn’t find anything wrong with it and that i could come and get it, i was unsure about this since i broke down on the highway and asked him to keep it over the weekend and continue to drive to be sure. On Monday morning 10/28 I called to find out what the verdict was and because i live about an hour away i wanted to make plans to get ride to come and pick it up (Boston tragic is no joke) when speaking with Tom that morning He said still couldn’t find any issue with it, i then asked did you you drive it on the highway, which he responded i believe so but let me be sure and i will call you back. 3hrs later i called him back And talked to Tom to find out should I head out and he informed me that my truck has just arrived back and yes there is a problem with it and would be a day or two for him to figure it out and he would get back to me. On Wednesday 10/30 Tom called to let me know that the problem was related to rear axel and that it would cost $1,350.00 I said fix it. On Friday 11/1 late afternoon Tom called to say truck was ready, because of the time I told him I would pick it up first thing Saturday morning. I arrived Saturday morning and was informed by Tom that the bill was now $1,514.49, he went on to state that he was giving me a discount on the tow of my truck because when he test drove it on the highway it broke down and needed it to be towed back. He never mentioned this in any of our calls he also went on to tell me that what ever was being fix was really broken and difficult to clean out. Honestly I could careless that something was more difficult than he thought if the price was going to go up from his initial quote then he absolutely should have called me to inform me, also how am I responsible for a tow when he had possession of the truck diagnose what the issue with it is. Bottom line the failure to communicate a increase in final bill and passing on cost that I as the consumer should never incur is ridiculous and unacceptable. I will never have my car serviced by them again and when it comes time for a new vehicle I will be going back to Lexus there customer service is impeccable and when they give you a quote it doesn’t increase by almost $200.00. But it gets better as Tom gets out of my truck for me to leave and say’s your gonna need gas, I look at the gas gauge and it says 13 miles until empty...really!!! Then as I am driving it home and I notice it’s pulling to the left and I will need an alignment which I did today not at land rover Hanover, the cost $200.00, I expected the highest quality of service from Land Rover Hanover and got the exact opposite. More
