2017 Range Rover Evoke has a windshield leak. Dealership wants over $1700 to replace the windshield and fix the leak… REALLY?? I have a friend. Same car, same year SAME ISSUE! Not a fan of this dealership and their service policies. Only option for warranty work in Oregon. They don’t offer you a loaner unless you bought the vehicle there. Windshield Calibration I had my windshield replaced by a local glass company and I was told that I needed to have the windshield calibrated. I made the appointment with Land I had my windshield replaced by a local glass company and I was told that I needed to have the windshield calibrated. I made the appointment with Land Rover Portland to have it done. When I returned to pick up the vehicle I was asked "Did you just have this windshield replaced? Because there is a small crack." My response was "That's what I said when I called to make the appointment. Do people have their windshields calibrated for any other reason?" I can not believe that they did not think to stop and call me or look at notes when they saw the crack. So now I paid for a calibration that was pointless because I will need to have it done a 2nd time after the repair/replacement. Fantastic! This is the only dealership within hundreds of miles so not sure how much this review matters. No one would give me the service manager's contact info so, this was all I could do. I will be sure to start looking to see who else can service Range Rovers. *The reason for two stars, is because the sales department is excellent! More
