Wish I could rate this a ZERO! ! Went there today to look/drive a Vehicle I saw online. I was welcomed very nicely by the front desk and was asked to wait for a sales rep. I was ro ! Went there today to look/drive a Vehicle I saw online. I was welcomed very nicely by the front desk and was asked to wait for a sales rep. I was roaming around looking ar another suv that caught my eye, while inside the sales rep came by. Older gentleman he said something that I guess was supposed to be funny but honestly I didn’t hear & he was kinda dry…then he asked how could he help. I showed him a picture of the vehicle I was there for and he said he’d look to see if still available. I exited the car to follow and NOT once did he say, please come and wait at my desk or sit here or whatever. So I just started browsinf and sat down. Now, this is not my first rodeo at car buying. So he disappeared for about 7-10 mins and returns to let me know the car is at the tower and someone is going to h get it. Fast forward about 20 mins later a woman is sat at his or a desk (mind you I’m right behind listening to their conversation and observing the interaction) which is completely different to ours. I understand the dynamics of people can be different and there are many different variables BUT when you’re in sales or customer service…YOU’ve gotta give your best. I guess he either remembers or realizes that I’m still there and stops by and tells me they’re still getting the car and to give them another 10 mins. I nodded In agreement (still giving him the benefit of the doubt). He took the other lady somewhere else to help her complete the transaction or whatever I’m guessing. Im still waiting drinking water and minding my biz. He returns asks for my license I handed it to him and then he asks for my insurance and I said I don’t have it on me. He then asks if I have it on my phone I said, no. He proceeds to ask if I have insurance at all. I just gave him a look. He said I needed it due to COVID I’d be driving by myself and need proof of insurance. I said I’ve test driven other vehicles and HAVENT had to provide such. Then he got a little ‘tude and I asked for my Drivers license back told him I wasn’t gonna drive or see it and he said it’s already up front. I repeated that I wasn’t going to drive it and he just started to walk away with my DL & said he had to make a copy. I asked him for it 3x!! And started to follow before I got it back!! I thought this was outrageous and bullying me (potential buyer)!! Finally got My ID back and asked for a manager at the front desk. Manager is VERY unprofessional bc when I said I had an issue he just asked me what the problem was in front of other customers instead of saying something like please come to my office. So, I SAID don’t you have an office we can discuss the issue?!! Then he took me to the last office where I expressed my discontent with the service and treatment. He was VERY non-chalant about my concern. I felt I like was treated differently bc of my demographic and perhaps visual appearance (messy hair I don’t care, sweats n sneakers attitude-lol). He pretty much defended the sales person (if I were his employee I’d love working there)…however, I’m a buyer whom you just lost for being so ignorant and disrespectful to. I’m all about service, great service. But most importantly treating people fairly regardless of visual demographics. Even if you’re selling me a hooptie, the way you treat me shows me a lot! Manager was very unhelpful, unsupportive and…just lost a sale that will benefit another dealer…Ty so much for making clear how much you care about your customers. Happy Saturday More
