Adel was great to work with when I was looking for a new car. They didn’t have what I was looking for and he found it for me. I’ve bought many cars over the years and this place was by far the best experience ever. The staff is the most professional and honest, the facility is amazing, and the level of service they provide is sec by far the best experience ever. My wife had been wanting a Range Rover and their inventory had one that caught our eye. Being 4 hours away from the dealership, we contacted them and looked to do as much as we could virtually. Every staff member we spoke with was absolutely amazing and not pushy at all. We received multiple personal level communications from the General Manager, Bill DiMaio, himself assuring us of our consideration. We needed to trade in a vehicle as well and the people at Land Rover Monmouth county provided us a very fair trade in value which also was the highest compared to other luxury dealers. It didn’t just stop there. Having gained our confidence I was ready to move forward with the purchase sight unseen due to the excellent level of communication and customer service we received. While I was planning to make a trip on the upcoming weekend, our sales person, Adel Erakky, reached out and offered to bring us the car! That’s right; going out of their way to accommodate. With kids it’s never easy so this gesture meant the world. We met up at mutually agreed location, all paperwork was ready to go and clearly labeled. Even when we were contacted by Mohammed for additional warranty or protection options we did not feel pressured at all. They were in our corner and treated us like family. After everything was explained in detail, I cut the check for our down payment and my family and I were on our way with our new car while handing over ours. This level of personal white glove service is something I never expected from a dealership let alone in the tristate area. If you’re considering any vehicle at this facility, I assure you the process is painless and you’ll have a peace of mind you don’t normally get from buying a car from a dealership. My wife & I purchased a pre owned 2016 LR4 from this dealership in summer 2020, with 40,000 on the clock. We were told the car was fully inspected & sorted out, prior to the sale. Since summer of 2020 we put roughly 7K miles on the clock .. BUT had multiple visits to the dealership to fix various small things (like sunroof sunshade not closing / AC vent making noise / CEL for a fuel trim issue). These small things were indeed fixed at no charge (car still had warranty), which is great, even though it took roughly 3-4 visits to get the sun roof shade fixed correctly (however, now the headliners rattles which is super annoying, but not a point of this review). 3-4 months ago or so we made an appointment for a simple oil change & check up, & were told that the water pump is leaking & that the coolant warning light was on - total cost $2K+. We never saw the coolant light on the dash but gave the benefit of the doubt, paid the bill, & called it a day. A month or so ago, we took the car in again for a quick check up & slight steering wheel wobble .. to our amazement, the dealership stated the front brake calipers were seized & we were told that to fix this issue it would cost roughly $5K to change both calipers (!). Upon pressing the issue, the dealership stated they could go ahead & replace ONLY the faulty LEFT caliper at a cost of $2.5K (!). We took the car back, ordered an OEM caliper form British Atlantic & had the caliper replaced at a local indie shop for $500. Even though we changed exactly the part dealership stated was faulty, the wobble still remains. In fact, the indie shop gave us our old caliper back stating there is nothing wrong with it. The problem was NEVER the seized brake caliper! Which means if we didn't question their diagnosis, we would have been ripped of for $5K, & would have still had the same issue. This, I remind you, on a car that had 6 visits to dealership since purchased in summer of 2020, & all of these visits included the so called complimentary inspection & assessment of work to be done in the future. NONE of these visits foresaw the water pump nor the faulty calipers (and for the last 3 visits, these 'inspections' failed to actually notice a very evident ripped rear wiper blade, which I assume would be a SAFETY concern - so I guess so much for the inspections). So our only conclusion is that this dealership is either 100% incompetent OR they simply cheat people out of money. Not very hard to do when most of their clientele is well off & can afford to simply write a check without taking time to investigate the findings. A guess of course, but an educated one. In summary, I would NOT let these people try & fix my toy potato gun, much less a car. They are callus, incompetent, & dare I say, crooks. If there were ZERO stars to give, we would. Lastly, ever since we started having issues with them, we stopped receiving satisfaction surveys, post visits. Incredible coincidence, I'm sure. So we are now going to pursue other avenues, like contacting LR Corporate, to see if we can get this sorted out. For whatever its worth, be warned. Cheers, M More
