Disappointed with Bait-and-Switch Tactics at Land Rover of Monmouth I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Land Rover of Monmouth. I came in for my 4th car from this dealer of Monmouth I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Land Rover of Monmouth. I came in for my 4th car from this dealership in time for Christmas celebration. I was interested in full size Range Rover and started all paperwork 2 months before charismas. Deposit was posted as per paper work and I was left to wait for the car I ordered. However, upon my car delivery to the dealership, I was informed that I have to pay extra $5 thousand to get my car. The upcharge was for premier protections that were not included in the original contract and are optional. After my attempts to get more info in regards to the charge, I was told; “We are very busy at this time of the year, if you still want the car you have to pay extra”. Exact words. I felt misled by the actions of Land Rover of Monmouth dealership. Initial contract was sighed and deposit posted, leaving me waiting for the car. While sales team knew this car is to be a Christmas present, they had reneged on the sighed contract a mere 5 days before Christmas. This felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and I am quite disappointed with the experience. While I understand dealerships have their own sales strategies, I believe transparency and fair negotiation are crucial for building trust with potential customers. Unfortunately, my experience at Land Rover of Monmouth lacked both these aspects. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration to improve future customer experiences. More
I made an offer on a vehicle and was told there was a $2,000 upcharge for Penske coverage. A price not listed ANYWHERE on their site or in the description of the car. We agreed on terms MLK Day, I was to wire the funds to them on Wednesday and they sold the car from me on Tuesday. Not trustworthy. More

My first review was good. I was towed to dealer vehicle was fixed so I thought. The invoice stated replaced battery.The next day vehicle would not start. I examined battery I was towed to dealer vehicle was fixed so I thought. The invoice stated replaced battery.The next day vehicle would not start. I examined battery and found battery cover missing and the positive battery cable to be missing bolt for connecting cable to battery. Dealer found cover on mechanics bench and replaced bolt. Ten months later, vehicle was towed again to dealer would not start. Battery replaced again! Unnoticed by me except my cleaning invoices from glove box. I noticed battery being replace twice in one year. Forward to present, and I find while cleaning engine dirt and rust, I find the battery hold down clamp is missing. Most likely on the "mechanic bench" again. I highly recommend if you bring your vehicle to this service department rightly bring your vehicle to another mechanic to get it checked out. I miss the service department of Paramus Land Rover (Prestige). I never had a problem with this dealer. This is an updated review with added content. More

Jack B was a great salesman. I don’t know much about vehicles and he made me feel comfortable and like he wasn’t just trying to make a dollar. I was in desperate need of a part for my LR4 Anthony the parts manager was able to locate and get it for me ASAP he is a true professional,, then had to contact service for the install Daniel the service wr parts manager was able to locate and get it for me ASAP he is a true professional,, then had to contact service for the install Daniel the service writer was extremely kind and accommodating, and to top it all off the service manager Richard over saw the entire install and made sure my car was picked up at my home completely detailed and then returned back to my home once service was completed, Richard I Applaud you and your team great job , thank you More
