Pretty awful all around except for Nadia. If it wasn't for Nadia it would have been garbage. She was their saving grace. I scheduled an appointment for a trailer hitch on my 2020 Land Rover Defender. I wa for Nadia it would have been garbage. She was their saving grace. I scheduled an appointment for a trailer hitch on my 2020 Land Rover Defender. I was told at the time of scheduling they don't offer loaner cars. I live 45 minutes each way +/- with traffic and I had to do a weekday with work. Not ideal. On the day I dropped it off (at 9am), they didn't have a clear pickup time. I was told "afternoon", I asked so, 3pm? They said yeah, 3pm is perfect. Around 2pm, still haven't heard anything from them, I call and had to leave a message. Phone tag, back and forth, I just asked to hold and around 3pm I was told they are still working on it. So, I ask, 5pm then? Yes, absolutely, 5pm. I arrive about 4:45pm. I can see it on camera in the shop with the back end still disassembled. 5pm comes and goes, 5:30 pm comes and goes... around 5:45pm I see them pull it out of the shop. But it disappears for about another 10 minutes (okay they are washing it, awesome). While I was waiting they also begin to tell me that they didnt send the cover plate out to be painted and I will have to come back another day for them to put that one (seriously?!). I then overheard the parts guy saying it will be painted white. I interrupt them and ask, isn't my bumper a silver/grey? They went out to the shop look at my car and say," oh, yeah, I guess it is. Well we can paint it any color you want" UGH... why do I have to check their work? What am I paying for? They finally pull it out front and the "shop manager" comes out. Now I assumed he was going to show me all the trailer cameras and the setup because when I had set the appointment, I specifically asked that they show me the camera system with it working (I was a youtube video and I wanted to see it in action and not later learn there is a problem). So, I ask him, "Okay, so can you show me the towing camera system?" He said, "No" I can't. So I just spent over $2800 and you cannot show me that it works? He said, no, we don't have a trailer. I told him you don't need a trailer, just a flat 4 tester would be fine. He said he had never heard of one. He then asked me why I am being difficult. I told him I'm not, and I asked him why he is being difficult. He also got VERY defensive and said, "what, you don't trust my workmanship?! I put a multimeter on the wires." I explain, that's nice but even new parts can be faulty. I have had BRAND new connectors on many things be faulty even if the wiring was okay. He then walks away and grabs Brad the service manager. Brad seems like a nice guy but clearly knows NOTHING about vehicles. They then both begin to mansplain things to me, telling me I need some special sticker from the manual. I asked them, what sticker, I have never seen a sticker in the manual. They didn't offer to get me a sticker or even show me what it was. I also asked brad why you don't have a tester to show me what I paid for works and he said he had never heard of a flat 4 tester and whoever invests it will make a lot of money (FYI they are $4.99 on amazon). After all of this, I also found out from Nadia that they DO actually have loaner cars and was very apologetic they didn't offer me one when I set the appointment. So, not only did my car get finished hours later, it actually wasnt finished. I am still missing a part. They couldnt show me that it actually works and candidly, I am now VERY MUCH questioning their work. On my drive home I was so irritated I called back to the GM and was able to speak with BJ. He seemed genuine at first. He let me vent a bit and then also began to tell me that Nadia is wrong and they dont have free loaners unless I had a repair that was taking days and kind of put her down. I didnt appreciate the way he spoke about her as she was the ONLY helpful person here. Ultimately, he ended the call by saying "well, what do you want me to do?" I dont know BJ, compensate me for the time where my wife unnecessarily drove to and from twice to drop me off and pick me up when we had contractors at our home and soccer and about a dozen other things going on. BJ, how about the fact I wasnt able to be there for my kids' soccer game because you took so much longer. BJ, how about I still dont know if the camera system works. BJ, how about it is still missing parts and I paid nearly triple what I could have paid for a bumper installed at the local Mann Welding shop who have done multiple receivers on multiple cars. BJ, how about you dont put down your own employees when they are trying to provide customer service. BJ, how about you set an example to your employees and make sure people do not mansplain. Anyone, who is reading this, if your spouse goes here, be prepared for the men to mansplain and treat women like they know nothing. I'm beyond frustrated and annoyed. This place has terrible management and avoid them. *Update - I connected the trailer and guess what, the camera system K asked them to show me... it doesn't work. More
