I had been struggling to find THE right truck in a dealership that could finance me. With my work schedule, it was difficult to find the time to search effectively. I almost never work in and around the Lynwood area. As I sat in my vehicle preparing to get to my next destination, a random email popped up from a popular auto search website. It was THE truck. It appeared perfect with the low miles and few previous owners I was wanting. It was 9 min. from where I sat. Understand that in my previous experiences over the months, I was not confident going in that this one would work out either. I took the drive over to the dealership anyway, after calling to see if the vehicle was still around. Jay took the call and met me with a handshake. He knew the value in the rarity of this truck, especially in its outstanding condition. We did paperwork, I explained my situation and he and Mel got to work. Details about the deal were made very clear to me, but I was still skeptical. Jay was not. He really instilled in me the confidence I needed. He was beyond personable, no rush and no pressure. He and Mel went back and forth as a team. I got the truck. I couldn't believe it! At an easy down payment and a monthly, that was in my budget. Jay's integrity, professionalism and warm smile made me so comfortable. My stopping in to see if this dream truck was even possible was a hail mary. Ups and downs of car buying out of state While I was pleased with the vehicle I purchased, and dealing with Tim, I will never buy a vehicle in Washington again while living in Idaho. If it takes 3 hours to prove I'm an Idaho resident, that's just nuts! With that said, Tim and the rest of the staff were friendly and even bought me lunch. Overall I was pleased with the dealership an I'm sure, if I had been a Washington resident, things would have moved much more quickly. I would give the dealership an 8 out of 10 because of the hassle of the resident issue. Hats off to Tim for taking care of my Jeep while I drove back and for the shirts for the minor problem that arose with the vehicle. If you guys were in Idaho, I would more than likely purchase another vehicle from you! That's is as straight up and honest as I can be about my dealings with. Thanks again, love the Mustang.
