I was using this dealership as it was convenient to work. I have to say, this is by far the worst place I’ve ever gone for any type of service. Both dealership and independent mechanic with my older cars. First issue is a clunk coming from the front end, and the vehicle cannot maintain a lane at highway speeds. The sharp drifting was noted by the shop foreman. Since this dealership would not let me take a loaner to NC for Thanksgiving, I had no choice but to drive the Rover down to the Carolinas. I was assured the car was safe to drive and an appointment was set for December 17th (almost a month wait for another loaner - absurd). The drive down to the Carolinas was absolutely miserable. For 12 hours, i was fighting the car to maintain a lane at highway speeds. It’s was so bad that my hands were in pain for two days after the trip from holding the wheel so tightly. I arrive at my destination and the service manager at Land Rover Greenville, road tested the car, and was in disbelief that anyone would deem the car road worthy. He looked up the parts ordered from Englewood and noticed they were for an HSE, not a dynamic (which I drive). Ridiculous. Service manager ordered the proper parts and sure enough, they never arrived, as the Easton, PA distribution facility has been closed since Wednesday. Are you freaking kidding me? So now I’m 731 miles from home and have to drive this vehicle back even though it is not recommended to drive, but i have no options as I have to be back for meetings on Monday. I cannot believe the ineptitude of Englewood and how horrific their distribution facility is. I wouldn’t expect this from a Kia dealer, let alone “prestigious” Land Rover. Save yourself the headache and avoid Englewood (and any Penske dealership). Absolute garbage, and beyond comprehension that I am going to have to drive this car back 700+ miles while fighting the steering wheel. I will be going back to Audi or BMW. At least they can get an issue corrected without leaving a customer stranded. What a joke. More
