I had the pleasure of working with Ray Turner, he was nothing short of fantastic! I was a few hours away from the dealership and he made the entire buying process hands down one of the best experiences nothing short of fantastic! I was a few hours away from the dealership and he made the entire buying process hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had. A special shout out to Jonathan in finance and the title clerk, I received my plates and tags within a month, that's exceptional for an out of state sale! Many thanks to the entire Land Rover Cary team, I truly appreciate the great service I received! More

Made the deal and then picked up the vehicle! Was a great experience. Ruben told me he was a retired marine! Great dealing with someone who you know is going to be honest and be completely trustworthy! You can’t ask for more than that! Great experience! More

I told them I would be fair in the review. The good: -Thomas( Sales) was good to work with. -I had a tight timeline and they had a full tank of gas in the truck. Now the Bad: -Truck The good: -Thomas( Sales) was good to work with. -I had a tight timeline and they had a full tank of gas in the truck. Now the Bad: -Truck was not clean when went to pick up/purchase. Yep, just pulled it up, sticky stuff all inside the front seat and dash and dirty outside. -There was a trailer hitch cover locked onto the truck and no key. -The truck had a aftermarket stereo system and they had no idea. I had to show it to them. Volume knob hanging down my the accelerator pedal. (safety issue) -No second key. But they sure made a point of if I got their "Platinum coverage" it would cover a spare key. -The deal turned a bit "greasy" where I paid $1000 over what had been agreed on. That might not have bothered me so much if they had taken better responsibility for the other stuff. In the end they covered the cost of me getting a new key made and to cut the lock off. Also threw in a couple dollars. (Not enough to make a difference) Would I buy from them again? Yes, but I would make sure I had plenty of time and I would hold their feet much closer to the fire. Typical car dealer and highly disappointing for a Range Rover dealership. Non-responsive post-purchase and my salesman, Curtis, is also typical for a salesman saying whatever needs to be said to sell a veh Rover dealership. Non-responsive post-purchase and my salesman, Curtis, is also typical for a salesman saying whatever needs to be said to sell a vehicle while he can’t even be bothered to find accurate answers for questions. Finding many of the "facts" he shared are in fact not true. This dealership is the worst I’ve ever encountered with the least competent sales, service and support staff ever. My 2023 Range Rover has had major service needs twice (vehicle filling with smoke inside and electronics going completely out) since my purchase in December and every time it has been a hassle, getting help which takes an extreme amount of effort. I understand that the dealership made their money but I will definitely never purchase from here again unless they make major changes. And I am definitely making sure everyone knows the horrible service you receive once the deal is done. Find another dealership!!! More
Our experience was phenomenal! Nobody in their right mind wants to pay what vehicles cost today, but it is what it is! We started dealing with Henry M with internet sales and he Nobody in their right mind wants to pay what vehicles cost today, but it is what it is! We started dealing with Henry M with internet sales and he was on point and timely and the info he gave was accurate. I asked a couple of questions that he couldn't answer and instead of BSing his way, he said he wasn't sure but would find out....I respect the honesty!! We then dealt with Ray Turner. Ray was probably the best car dealer rep we've ever dealt with! He was patient, clear, concise and very helpful!! Neither Henry nor Ray was the normal "pushy" "get em in, get em out". There was none of the normal car dealer horror stories. The NCSECU dropped the ball and we had to go pick up a small check -- Ray was so cool and never once checked his watch on the Friday before Memorial Day, like we were holding him up (which I think we were). Sat down with Mohammed, the finance manager -- not 1 second of high pressure! I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy on all of their parts!! We travelled 3 hours to get there and they did everything they possibly could to help us get out ahead of traffic! We would absolutely buy from Ray/Land Rover of Cary again!! We know whereof we speak - we had another Raleigh Dealership sell a Jeep out from under us! SMH Thanks Ray! More
Used car purchase gone bad. My apologies for a review the length of a short novel, but you can’t make a story like this up. My wife and I went into this adventure with a full My apologies for a review the length of a short novel, but you can’t make a story like this up. My wife and I went into this adventure with a full understanding that car salespeople, in general, are some of the lowest form of life. Our salesman was Peter Nash. Peter greeted us at the door, and was the ‘typical’ personable, jovial, and accommodating salesman. The car my wife was interested in (a 2019 BMW X5) was a clean ‘appearing’ car, however, under closer examination, it was shown to have some serious spotting, discoloration, and finish issues on the paint and accent trim work. My wife stated to ole Peter, that this would be an absolute deal breaker, unless it could be remedied. Fast forward forward to the high-pressure sales tactics, interior protectant, paint protection, blah-blah-blah. Ole Pete is a master of his craft. He told us everything that we wanted to hear, “I’ll have our paint & body folks take care of those blemishes, clay bar the car, and apply the ceramic coating, which, along with the interior ‘protectant’, totaled $1400+ as an added expense. Knowing that these ‘extras’ are typically nothing more than profit margin projects, ole Pete made us believers that, maybe not ALL car sales people are low-life, bottom feeding xxxx of the earth..so, against my better judgement, we took the bait. My wife stipulated (since it was her car, and her ‘deal’) that she wanted to not take delivery of the car, until the ‘deal-breaking’ problems were addressed. Ole Pete gave us the ‘sob story’ that a loaner car had to be arranged, and he he could not do that at that time (bull$hit) but we could take the car, and he would call when everything could be ‘arranged’ and we would bring the car back. My wife took a day off from work, to drop the car off for the ‘work’ to be done. We arrived to what was something more entertaining than a circus act. The ‘service adviser’ (he was so I’ll-informed, and worthless, it’s not worth mentioning his name) was completely lost, and his left hand did not know what his right hand was doing. This was our first indication that this ‘dealership’ was the lowest of low. The loaner/rental car (that needed to be ‘arranged’, but was ‘made-up’ on the day of our arrival) was a debacle worthy of an entirely separate terrible review. My wife returned, after two days, to pick her ‘completed’ car up. There it was, parked on the lot, in all of its glory…..with grass clippings blasted all over the back, sides, and underbelly of the car. The freshly ‘protected’ interior mats were muddied, the strategically placed ‘crumbs’ we left behind were still present and it was obvious that NOTHING was done inside of this vehicle, other than, perhaps, someone shooting some sort of ‘spray’ on the door sills (this was made evident by the ‘overspray’, that did not even cover the entire surface. Fast forward to the paint and trim ‘correction’ while some trim looked ‘slightly’ improved, it was still stained, spotty and overall not very impressive. If the ‘paint & body team’ did their best work to ‘correct’ the finish, the receive and absolute ‘F’ for their efforts. It’s evident (by a water test) that no ceramic coating was applied, and if this car was clay barred, they must have used a wad of dirty clay, because it’s as bad, or worse, than when we first looked at it. To close my novel, Peter Nash is a an absolute genius, as he has whole heartedly solidified that car sales people are, without a doubt, the biggest group of low-life, lying, deceitful and worthless pieces of $hit that sit behind a desk. Furthermore, the entire ‘team’ at Land Rover Cary should be ashamed of themselves. Without a doubt, this was the most unprofessional buying experience (of ANYTHING) that we have ever experienced in our lives. Peter Nash and Land Rover Cary, buyer beware of this team of xxxx !! More
