After calling another well known Jaguar/LandRover dealer in the area and receiving sub-par customer service on the phone, I called Manhattan Motors and worked with James Duncan and Brian Armstrong who were in the area and receiving sub-par customer service on the phone, I called Manhattan Motors and worked with James Duncan and Brian Armstrong who were very supportive and assisted me throughout the process. I was concerned about being taken advantage of because I am a woman but these people made me feel like I was the most important person in the world and were honest in their approach of negotiation on a vehicle that is very high in demand. I would recommend this team to anyone especially other working women that are looking for a great deal on a new Land Rover or a Jaguar for that matter. Just picked up my new 2012 Evoque! Awsome! I have bought cars from $500 to $100k, from individuals, Carmax, & traditional dealers for over 25 yrs. Simply put this was the worst exp ever. These guys will rip you off ! Front office was OK, but not up to current stds for a Jag/Land Rover dealer. Once handed over to the finance lady the fun began. Numbers were wrong, adding different things not requested & tried to charge $900 as a handling fee for gas & cleaning ! Almost walked out at this point. (& should have). Next was a long road of delays with tags, alarm system, warranties, etc. Took the $ but no services provided as promised. Exact same problem as the other reviews ! Service dept is horrific. Both times the car went in nothing was fixed as it should have been, the car was returned filthy and greasy inside. The service area looks like something from the 50's-60's, def not up to modern luxury high end car service depts. Only the Parts dept seem to have a clue. Avoid these guys at all costs... More

Brought my 2008 Mercury in to be inspected because alight came on. After inspection I was told a part needed to be replaced, and it would take an hour for the part to arrive, and that the price was 500 dolla came on. I was there for 2.25 hours in total and was charged for 4 hours worth of labor. When I called to clarify I was told actual time is not how they charge "its a flat price for the part replacement", however if it had taken 5 hours i surely would have been charged for 5 hours. More

Bought a used 2009 Porsche last month from them.Mr. Pham represented to me and they advertised the car as being in "perfect condition". Found out within 2 hours that the clutch was blown,the oil change they represented to me and they advertised the car as being in "perfect condition". Found out within 2 hours that the clutch was blown,the oil change they advertised was either not done or done improperly and the engine service light was on the whole time. I had driven the car back to New York when I left the agency. Mr. Pham at first said that this was all covered by their warranty. He later said no they were not but referred me to their used car manager who I called 4 times and surprise...I never got a response from him. Porsche in New York estimates the cost to make me whole is about 5000 dollars. It gets better . The 1999 Porsche I traded in when I got the 2009 was advertised the next week for sale. It was advertised as having within the last few months (when I owned it ) new brakes, rotors and tires. I also got in writing after they told my Investigator that the 1999 car also had a new clutch installed a few months ago. These are all bold face lies. None of these things were done by me and the tires are 4 years old.I am currently preparing a package for the Maryland Attorney General for this fraud and have already reported the first fraud to them. If you do not believe me go to Edmunds and look at other reviews. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
