I made an appointment online (11/1/2023) to bring my truck in for service. I listed all of the items I would like completed. They included an oil change, fuel filter service, transmission service, cha truck in for service. I listed all of the items I would like completed. They included an oil change, fuel filter service, transmission service, chassis lube, driveline service, differential inspection, recall inspection (2nd time), TPMS repair/replacement, rear camera repair/replacement, power window switch repair/replacement. My vehicle is a 2018 RAM 2500 Diesel with only 50,000ish miles. I purchased a Mopar 5 year bumper to bumper extended warranty when I purchased my truck. The service personnel told me that they would need to charge me $200 for each diagnosis before they would determine any of the repair items are covered. I was quoted over $1,700 for the service and diagnosis! The only thing that was completed was the oil change and fuel filter service which was almost $600! I was never told if parts were ordered, if any repairs were covered, if the recall was needed. I was told they would not service my transmission because there were not enough miles. I explained that I towed trailers and wanted a service. They told me that I would need to leave my truck for a "day or two" if I wanted that work done. I live 20 miles from the dealership so that wasn't going to happen. I was called by the dealership a few days later asking how my service was. I told the lady on the phone everything. She stated that she would get the service manager on the phone right away. I was left on hold (ignore) for several minutes before the line finally disconnected. If you have made it this far in the review, heed this warning.....DO NOT USE LAMPE for service! More
