Found our “dream car”at Lamoureux Ford My husband was on the phone to make a service appointment for our 2012 Focus and was put on hold. During this time, an ad came on about a used 2014 Ford Escape. It piqued his interest enough to look into it further on-line and he then called Bill Thibaud to ask about it. Bill invited us to come and look at the car and take it for a test drive so we did just that that very afternoon. We had not been looking for a new car yet at all but this one sounded too good to pass up since we’d thought of trying a Ford Escape next time we needed to change. Bill was just outstanding to work with. He was professional, warm, friendly, knowledgeable and the most helpful sales person we’ve ever met. He offered to put our keyless entry number in for us, to transfer all of our phone contacts from our phones and navigation addresses into the navigation, got our new registration for us and offered to take the car for its inspection and even put our new booster seat for our granddaughter in for us. When we brought it, it was still in the box and we didn’t realize it had to be put together but this did not phase Bill, he put it together and put it in. All of this was an invaluable benefit to us as we’re 70 years old and not too technology savvy. He did it all willingly and with a smile, gladly answered all of our questions— and there were many—and was just wonderful throughout the whole process. It was nice to also be greeted by Marc Lamoureux, the owner and Lionel Lamoureux, the original owner of Lamoureux Ford. The Escape is more than we ever dreamed we could have—it has so many features and options and drives so easily and rides so smoothly. We are just thrilled with it! Peter Stafford in the finance department is also very pleasant, knowledgeable and great to work with. We are just totally satisfied and happy with our whole experience and the atmosphere at Lamoureux Ford. There is no pressure there—you can look around as much as you want. Since I do a fair amount of my own research and reflection before approaching a sales rep, this approach of his works well with me. And when I do get into discussions with him on the finer details, he's extremely knowledgeable and aware of the vehicle's attributes and any incentives that may be going on at the time. I also appreciate the fact that Marc Lamoureux is often present at the dealership and seemingly sets the overall friendly and non-aggressive atmosphere of the establishment that has his family name out front. Before owning a Ford, we had been Volvo owners for 26 years. We are both totally satisfied with the features and quality of both of our Ford vehicles. The service department hours are very convenient, the service is performed with a minimum of waiting time and at a very reasonable cost.
