They do not cover Bumper to Bumper Warranty’s A customer since 2012 and have purchased 3 new vehicles from LVF since then. Have given LVF 5 star ratings in the past for buying experience. It’s the service department that concerns me, and for good reason. I don’t know about you but when I purchase a new vehicle I expect the dealership to back it while under warranty. And they do but only to a point and unfortunately you will not know what that point is until you reach it. This vehicle is a 2019 Ford Escape Titanium and I purchased it in April of 2019, with a Premium Care Warranty. Since then parts have been falling off of this vehicle very couple of months. 😳, yup. The side rail under the doors, the mud flaps and the front shield which runs under the nose of the vehicle. I did not ask them to cover the mud flaps, and they covered the side rail. It’s the shield under the nose of the vehicle they say isn’t covered, which has come loose twice now in less than a year and this happens while driving 65 mph on the interstate. The second time they screwed it to the unibody as the push pin hole was blown out from dragging on the interstate. So all I wanted was a new panel as this one is heavily damaged. Sorry not covered under warranty, it’s considered like wipers, brakes, tires etc. Really? I don’t get it, is it me? Should I not have an expectation that the dealership will take care me when I purchase a new vehicle? I also don’t understand why a dealership would opt to loose a good customer over a $100 part. To top it off I called Ford Direct and they were going to pay for it, but the service department refuses to take my calls and doesn’t return my calls when I leave a message. If a company becomes so big that they are willing to loose customers over $100, then it’s time to move on. I have spent over $100,000.00 at this dealership and their Quicklane oil and lube since 2012. More
