They blamed the tears on the lift that LAMB installed and said warranty wouldn't cover that. They wanted $1700 for 2 new CVs. I purchased them for $250 and installed myself in a couple hours. I would expect them to stand by their work and honor the parts that wore out premature due to the components that LAMB installed! More
They should get a negative star. They told us it was a 3 day job. We went in and checked, a few days later, still not done. We again told them it would be needed by the 31st we were going on vacation! They said it would be. Spoke to the. 3 more times, Dylan said it would be done. Called on Saturday the 31st and it rang and rang. Finally got a call at 1:15 pm, saying it won't be ready. They are closed Sunday and Monday we can't get our truck. They have lied and under performed on everything they have said. We will NEVER buy anything or use them again to fix anything and I suggest you don't use them either. More
I would leave a negative star if I could! Went shopping with my 83 year old mother to get a car from Lamb Chevy.... Worst mistake, the Manager of the Chevy dealership was horrible. The car we Went shopping with my 83 year old mother to get a car from Lamb Chevy.... Worst mistake, the Manager of the Chevy dealership was horrible. The car we were going to buy was in for a 120 point inspection and we were waiting to hear back from the dealership to make the purchase. We didn't receive a call back so I called Lamb Chevy and spoke with the manager. He tried to get one of his agents to sell the car instead of the gentleman we were already working with, and basically sold the car before it was out of the inspection. I really hope this isn't how they treat seniors, cause Prescott is full of them! I would NOT recommend this dealership! Worst service on the Chevy side of the dealership, and from a Manager too! More
When I moved to the Prescott, I needed to get my oil changed in my 2016 Traverse. Not having a local mechanic or shop I decided to use Lamb Chevrolet. Kendall, my service advisor gave my vehicle a tho changed in my 2016 Traverse. Not having a local mechanic or shop I decided to use Lamb Chevrolet. Kendall, my service advisor gave my vehicle a thorough review and recommended some other services that I might need. Everything that Kendall and the service team has done if top notch and I feel confident that I can continue to drive my Traverse anywhere I need to go without concern on it's safety and reliability. Last month when I had my truck in for an oil change I had talked to Dylan about replacing all of my glow plugs because my engine light was on. He made note of it that I would return to have that done. When I talked to Dylan about replacing all of my glow plugs because my engine light was on. He made note of it that I would return to have that done. When I dropped the truck off last week, I added the major service but didn't think to reiterate the glow plugs. I assumed he had that covered already. I picked the truck up two days later, paid, and drove away the realizing my engine light was still on. I called thinking they hadn't reset the computer, while On hold for Dylan I was re-reading the receipt and realized there was no mention of them replacing the glow plugs. To say the least I was pissed!! I live in Skull Valley 30+ miles away so it's hard to find a ride to pick me up. Dylan apologized, admitting he missed adding that to the work order. Now I have to try to get it back in....the hardest part!!!! More
I've had nothing but AWESOME experience with Lamb Auto. I used the Costco auto program to buy my 2021 Equinox. That was the quickest I've ever been in and out of a dealership! I have all the service don I used the Costco auto program to buy my 2021 Equinox. That was the quickest I've ever been in and out of a dealership! I have all the service done on my vehicle in their service department. Everyone has been awesome to work with. Robert Manning was my service guy and I just heard he was promoted to supervisor! Awesome for him, but I'll miss having him as my go-to guy! More
I would never go to Lamb Chevrolet for anything! I bought a brand new 2023 Chevy 2500 diesel truck (from Kingman Chevrolet because their price was way better than Lamb’s prices) I was ready for the I bought a brand new 2023 Chevy 2500 diesel truck (from Kingman Chevrolet because their price was way better than Lamb’s prices) I was ready for the first free service on the truck so I made an appt at Lamb since they are way closer to me. I also wanted the service dept to look into a funny sound the engine was making after a cold start in the morning. It started making the sound after about a month of owning the truck. When my truck was serviced at Lamb I told the service dept. to please check the truck. When I picked it up they said the truck was fine and there was no noise. They further explained to me that I just didn’t know or understand that diesel engines sound “funny”……..My husband has the same diesel truck but an older model and this is not a normal diesel sound. I felt like they were talking down to me because I was a woman (who didn’t understand diesel engine noise!) I left feeling upset and disregarded. The next morning I recorded the noise on my phone to show the service mechanics what I was talking about. I also had a neighbor who is a racing mechanic inspect the sound. He said it was absolutely NOT normal and thought it was a fan clutch going out. I went to Lamb with my husband to show them the exact noise from my phone recording….they said that was not “normal” and made another appt for the truck. I again brought it in and left it overnight (I explained that the truck makes that sound on about 8 or 9 out of 10 mornings that it starts up, and only after being warmed up for about 10 minutes. The next day one of the mechanics called and said to come get the truck and nothing was wrong with it. He said he did not hear any strange sound. (I have proof of the sound on my phone! Everyone said it was NOT normal including the other service advisor) He further told me that it was probably the EMP shield that we had installed on the battery to avoid electrical damage in the event the truck was struck by lightning. (why didn’t they mention their theory of the EMP shield the first time it was there…)I explained that the truck had been making the noise WAY BEFORE the EMP shield had been installed. My other 2 vehicles have this same EMP shield with no issues as it only attaches to the battery and NOTHING else. It does not affect electronics or the engine in any way. He said to go home and take it off and bring it back or just go to the dealer we bought it from “since it is their problem”. Again I was talked down to and did not appreciate the condescending attitude. The service advisor was extremely abrasive and dismissive.I would never go to Lamb Chevrolet for anything ever again. The mechanics are clueless and they need a serious in service on how to treat customers. (No attention to detail because they put my truck was white on the service record and it is silver- they probably did not even do a cold start on it like I explained in detail) DO NOT GO TO LAMB CHEVROLET!!!!! By the way I mentioned this horrible experience to my neighbor who also had a very similar experience with rude staff in the service dept and he also would never go their again. More
Was considering making the switch from my MDX to the Escalade. After doing some research and seeing what was available locally, stopped by this afternoon to see their selection in-person. After asking a Escalade. After doing some research and seeing what was available locally, stopped by this afternoon to see their selection in-person. After asking a number of questions (not a lot of product knowledge here), I asked if I could look inside. "You'll need to apply for a loan through us first." What? I understand that these are not inexpensive vehicles, but I wasn't kicking tires. I was ready to purchase or order, if I felt comfortable in the vehicle. However, I'm not dinging up my credit just to find out if I'm really interested in-person. Between the lack of answers and snobby policies, I'll head elsewhere, thanks! Never had this issue with the multiple high-end Acuras I've purchased. If the customer service is this bad in sales, from the outset, I can only imagine how disappointing the vehicle service side is, after they have your money. More
