If you check the website, you will see that they do not publish the negative reviews. Brought the car in because we thought there was a problem with the TPMS sensors. When we called back, we were always transferred to a voicemail. We had to finally call corporate to have them witness the lack of effort that this staff displays. Please avoid this dealership if you are expecting quality service. More
Sadly, I decided to use this dealership's service dept. for a recall on my Toyota Highlander. They were supposed to inspect the paint job, since this was the recall problem. They kept my car overnight, for the next day since he said it was an all day deal. Waiting all day for someone to call me, I decided to call them around 5:00 PM, since they close at 6:00 PM, to see if I could pick up my car, only to be told (by David, who BTW was so rude from the first time that I met him, taking my keys, me chasing him down to ask if he wanted my name, to which he said NO, John Paul has all of your information). Since I had spoken with John Paul several times, I said okay, then my son and I left. When I called back about my car, David was the one who answered, and told me my car had NOT been inspected because it was listed as SALVAGE! I told him no way, I bought the car new, and was the only owner (except for an ex husband but the title was in my name only). He commented that it was a 2018 model, wrecked and again he said very rudely it was listed as salvage. I said, no sir,it is a 2013 model, and it has never been wrecked! When I asked why they had not called me earlier, David was even more rude and said because we didn’t have your phone number ( *remember the evening told me he didn’t need it, that John Paul had it), and was fussing at me because they went through my car looking for my registration, rudely commenting, "YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE A REGISTRATION IN YOUR VEHICLE!” to which I replied, no I don’t, when I take it some place to stay overnight, I have it with me because people DO break into vehicles around New Orleans, you know!” To that he did not reply. I asked him to explain about the report saying my car was salvage, and he told me to call and speak with John Paul, that all he knew was what the report said and they would not inspect the paint on my car. When I went to pick it up, nearly dark, I found my car LEFT UNLOCKED in the back parking area. And David had the audacity to question my not having a registration in my car! I also had business cards in the glove compartment, with my phone number on them, so they didn’t search too long. I tried calling John Paul back the next day, leaving him a message to please return my call and explain what this report means, as this had never happened to me before. I called again, later, and after a few days of his ignoring my messages and calls, I gave up. My son ordered and paid for a Carfax report online. We both saw the alert had NOTHNG to do with my car being salvaged at all, but rather the odometer reading was the alert. I have already spoken to the DMV, and they have admitted it was a careless mistake on their part, and we are taking care of that. These people, at least these two men, are so RUDE and OBNOXIOUS! I was speaking with a very nice sales person, Henry, that day, while looking at new Rav4’s and explained I had to wait on getting my car painted, so I could sell it. Well, sorry Henry, I won’t be purchasing my new car at Lakeside Toyota. WARNING!!! DON’T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME HERE, or your money. I am a senior lady, and I should not have been treated this way, ignored, fussed at like I was a child, and made to think I was lying about my car. I am still FURIOUS and will consistently be leaving BAD REVIEWS wherever I can!!! More

Jean Paul Buisson is my Service Manager and I am so impressed with his work ethics, recently I had to bring in my 4Runner because of low tire pressure, while he was checking me in he reminded me that i impressed with his work ethics, recently I had to bring in my 4Runner because of low tire pressure, while he was checking me in he reminded me that it was time for the maintenance on my 4Runner and even though I had no appointment he was able to fit me in. That's the reason I'm always impressed with him, he always goes above and beyond. He always takes good care of my 4Runner and no matter what problems I think I have with my 4Runner he is always patient with me and tells me just bring it in and we'll take a look at it. I'm sure all Lakeside Toyota Service Managers are very good, - Jean Paul is the best by far as I'm concerned. As long as he works for Lakeside Toyota I will choose him as my Service Manager. Thank you Lakeside for having him as your employee. More

Jean Paul Buisson is by far the most incompetent and unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. I brought my truck into the service department and was immediately turned off the moment he approached me unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. Terrible. Had my car towed to Lakeside Toyota because it wouldn’t start. Replaced the fuel pump, got it back and the same day was having issues again with starting, bought it back and they replaced another wouldn’t start. Less than a week later the car starts running rough, check engine light is on. After keeping it for 4 business days I finally get it back. They replaced spark plugs and ignition coil. After driving it for about 10 miles it’s doing the exact same things. So now I have to bring it back for who knows how long. I gave it one star because you can’t give it zero . I will say that the service rep Tina is very good. More
