I would NOT recommend buying a vehicle from Lakeshore Kia in Slidell, LA strictly due to their inadequate Service Department. I had a great buying experience 10 months ago when I purchased my car brand new f in Slidell, LA strictly due to their inadequate Service Department. I had a great buying experience 10 months ago when I purchased my car brand new from Lakeshore Kia in Slidell. When my check engine light came on at only 16k miles, I had a completely different experience with their Service Department. When I arrived at the dealership, I was told that they had no available appointments for 16 days. I asked the service technician if he could at least run the code to see what triggered the check engine light. I wanted to ensure that the car was safe to drive for another 16 days, but he refused to do so. The only explanation he offered was that maybe I had left my gas cap off. I have been driving for over 30 years, and at no point have I ever left my gas cap off. I am a conscientious car owner who will not continue to drive a vehicle with a check engine light on. I called Dean McCrary Kia in Hattiesburg, MS who offered me a service appointment the very next day. Don’t waste your time or money at Lakeshore Kia in Slidell. Their Service Department is closed on Saturdays and if your check engine light comes on you might have to wait for over 2 weeks to determine the cause! More

Collected quotes for a new telluride order from multiple dealerships in the area. Finally got one at MSRP. Contacted Lakeshore and told them I have an MSRP quote, if you can match it I'll order with you. Vi dealerships in the area. Finally got one at MSRP. Contacted Lakeshore and told them I have an MSRP quote, if you can match it I'll order with you. Via email they said "Need you to come in, wouldn't be a wasted trip." I went in person and they wouldn't budge from 4k over MSRP. So let me get this straight, I told you I have a quote for MSRP (printed, proven one from other dealership) and you made me drive an hour out of my way just do do a bait and switch that wasn't even in the same ballpark? I will never do any business with the Lakeshore dealerships ever again and will actively dissuade all those I know looking for cars from patronizing this disingenuous and deceptive bunch. More
