June 29th my 2019 VW Tiguan was dropped off at Lakeland VW and they told me I would need a new alternator, pully, and belt. which is all covered under warranty, I was told it would be ordered and arrive w VW and they told me I would need a new alternator, pully, and belt. which is all covered under warranty, I was told it would be ordered and arrive within 2/3 days… That was now 29 days ago and they have told me they have no idea when my car will be fixed and that parts are backordered with no date in site. I was then given a loaner that they took back after two weeks and they dropped off a dirty sticky replacement loaner that within one day of driving was alerting EPC ERROR, CHECK ENGINE, START STOP ERROR, NO LANE ASSIT and more… The car was pulling and having noticeable issues, when I called to report these issues, I was screamed at by the service manager Giovanni Aponte, The extreme disrespect and unprofessionalism this man displayed was the worst I’ve ever seen in customer service. He called me a liar and said “oh honey just drive the car back at 60 mph and it would be here by now” for 70 miles of driving, even though it was having serval issues while driving. He wanted me to risk my own life to bring him back the faulty car. When I refused, he did not want to risk his employees like me, so he had the car towed back to the dealership. When I tried to reach out to the General Manager, instead of calling me he went to the service manager and told him to 100 % NOT to give me another loaner, that since I did not buy my car from them, they did not need to help me! Thank You David Diveley, I really appreciate you not even taking the time to call me back about this situation. You decided it was ok for your employees to disrespect and put the customer in danger. I have an email from your service department telling me its SAFE TO DRIVE, that is unbelievable as it had 4 errors he has never even checked, how could he ever know for sure? He called me dramatic, for being concerned about the ability of that car to make it there. I have never been treated so poorly by a company; Lakeland VW is the WORST dealership I’ve ever been too. I finally had enough of the disrespect and lies and I had my SUV towed off their lot yesterday, They told the tow company my SUV could not be fixed by them. When I received my car back home the SUV now has even more error codes and wont even turn on. My SUV in the 29 days it was at Lakeland VW seems to have only gotten worse and the service team there thinks they were doing be a courtesy. I would NEVER recommend anyone bring their vehicles to Lakeland VW dealership, The service manager Giovanni Aponte will disrespect you and try to put you in unsafe situations, this dealership does not put the customer first. More

Easy scheduling process online. Immediately meet me upon arrival and went over procedures and asked me if I would be staying or dropping off the vehicle. I have never dealt with the dealership, purchased vehicle in Tampa, had issue with car and made appt. over the phone and Becky assisted me, she is wonderful; Arrived at service Dept. next morning and Matt we in Tampa, had issue with car and made appt. over the phone and Becky assisted me, she is wonderful; Arrived at service Dept. next morning and Matt welcomed me in a very professional way, reviewed my concerns and explained the inspection process, walked me to the lounge and kept me informed of progress, once service complete, explained billing and I was on my way. I have been to many dealers for all the vehicles in family (wife & two children) and there is always something about Service Depts. that drive you away but I'm very satisfied with Becky & Matt, they just represent VW the way it should. More
