Long term, happy customer. Hello. I have been through every incarnation of VW in Lakeland for 20 years. In that 20 years, the service department has had very low turnover throug Hello. In that 20 years, the service department has had very low turnover through different owners, and I can also now say that about the Lakeland VW's sales staff. I've purchased 2 cars from salesman, Trey Chapman and both times made it easy. Jonathan Fiermonti has been my service writer for several years, and like Brian before him, who is now head of service, I never have to guess what an outcome might be. Dan, head service tech, has been excellent for all of the 20 years I've conducted business there and in fact everyone is just plain cool. I also have some special requirements, complimentary vehicle wise, and they always make an effort to have what I need. My experience over the years in watching services customers is that the people who are most unhappy with their service are the ones who don't care for their car properly. They are also the most impatient. Patiences, and proper auto maintenance, is a virtue. More

The service department people were busy and tried to get to me-they acknowledged me and asked me to be patient for just a moment. Within a very few minutes I was taken care of!! Questions asked and answered! The Service Manager passed by and spoke with me ( and gave me his card) and said if I ever needed anything to feel free to call him personally!! Thank you Brian Woerdehoff!! I have found my VW dealer when I find my home and settle in Lakeland. I assure you that the local dealer in NJ doesn't treat people so kindly...I will be in touch!! More

Great service for 19 years. I have been going to every incarnation of VW dealer in Lakeland since 1997. My initial experience with Robert G. Waters was outstanding, and Lakeland I have been going to every incarnation of VW dealer in Lakeland since 1997. My initial experience with Robert G. Waters was outstanding, and Lakeland VW is the best since. The service department personnel has been consistent through several owners over the years. Brian, Jonathan, Gary, and head tech, Dan, have been great to me over the years. I have found that people who complain about their service are normally at fault in some way, whether it be a predisposed chip on their shoulder, to lack of maintenance of their car. In my case, a little patience and flexibility has paid off. My service over the years has been completely outstanding. I drive 30K a year plus, so I take care of my car. I also want to talk about my latest purchase from the dealership(3/30/16). I had the HELIX Subwoofer/5 Channel Amp installed in my 2015 Sportwagen. It sounds completely outstanding and was designed for VW. The bass is tight and controlled and the amp makes the stock speakers sound great. The sub fits in the spare wheel well and still leaves room for the spare tire(donut). Dan Yerkes did and outstanding job on the install. Thanks to Jonathan for kind of pushing me into it. So I stopped by to see what the problem was. Again they said they had to order the tire and they would call me the next day. No call back.so I called back.this time they made a mistake and put me through to parts, they said they stock those tires. Why DID THEY LIE. I WAS PAYING. FOR IT. I GUESS ONE TIRE WASN'T WORTH THEIR TIME. MY Car is only 6 months old.2015 JETTA. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANY MONEY THERE AGAIN!!!!!!! More
