While Ashley gave excellent customer service, I feel that the service department was trying to upsale repairs. I recently had my 45,000-mile service on my 2022 Tiguan, and just ten days later, one of my engine coils went bad. I was understandably frustrated and called the service advisor to let her know about the is and just ten days later, one of my engine coils went bad. I was understandably frustrated and called the service advisor to let her know about the issue. I ended up having my car towed from Tampa to Lakeland for repairs. When the car was serviced, I was told the engine coil had failed and that the new recommended service was spark plugs. I asked the advisors how this situation even happened, but none of them could provide a clear explanation. Thankfully, the engine coil was still under warranty, so they replaced it at no charge. However, I still felt unsatisfied and confused about how things got to this point. I decided to reach out to the service manager to express my frustration, and I must say, he really went above and beyond. Not only did he listen to my concerns, but he also took the initiative to resolve the issue by offering to replace the spark plugs as well, even though that wasn’t initially part of the plan. This gesture meant a lot to me, and I’m truly grateful for his efforts. Because of his professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction, I will continue to bring my business here. He didn’t have to offer the extra service, but he did, and that kind of customer care is what will keep me coming back. Thank you again to the service manager for making things right! More
