Took my car in to have it checked out for road noise on rear passenger side. I thought maybe a wheel bearing was going and I wanted it checked out before heading back to Canada. Service rep reported I needed new brakes, front and back, four new tires and that there was no coolant in the rad when the vehicle was brought in. She said the rad had a very bad leak and it would also need to be replaced. I questioned her on how this could be as I had just driven 3000km with no issue of over heating and no dash alarms. She then proceeded to tell me someone had put coolant in the windshield washer resivor because there was pink fluid in it. I informed her I topped up the windshield fluid before heading out on this trip and yes it was pink, She could not show me were the leak was in the rad. I checked the rad fluid level and it was full. At this point I took my car and left. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, I would give it a less than 1 Star rating if I could. More
Salesman Mike Johnson was outstanding, made us feel comfortable and was patient in answering our many questions, right to the finish line. From now on i want Lacy to take care of my car!!! She’s truly too notch!!! I took my car in for service because the check engine light was on. After a month i just noticed that the temporary paper license tag will be expired on 01/24/2020 but i have not receive Again Lakeland Toyota ...... After a month i just noticed that the temporary paper license tag will be expired on 01/24/2020 but i have not received the original metal plate/tag yet. I called Lakeland Toyota and they checked their records and found that they have not applied for the license plate yet !!! They sent me the 2nd paper plate/tag today. I am not surprised at all. This is how Lakeland Toyota works... And i am still waiting for Lakeland Toyota Customer relations Manager to confirm my refund of the extended service warranty... I have called him 74635363 times and i left 63747473 voice message to his company phone. I hope he is going to listen one of them and he will call me back... His title is Customer Relations Manager. I think he cares his customers when he has time... More
I had a very bad experience with Toyota Lakeland.I went I had a very bad experience with Toyota Lakeland. I went there to buy a Toyota Yaris 2020. They told me that they don’t have a Yaris anymore and off I had a very bad experience with Toyota Lakeland. I went there to buy a Toyota Yaris 2020. They told me that they don’t have a Yaris anymore and offered me a Corolla which was parked in the middle of the showroom. When we start negotiating the price i was not sure if the sales person was helping me or what. Because the price of the Corolla LE is almost the same price the Corolla SE. I was about the leaving the place she called me back and offered me a discount and we backed to the negotiation. I gave my social and driving license and she disappeared for approx 1 hour. Then she came back and told me that my credit has been approved but interest rate is the max since i don’t buy a car with finance before. I accepted the high interest rate because i was planning to built my credit by buying a car. She took me to the finance guy and i signed the all papers which i had to sign. By the way, i had been there for almost 4 hours just to buy a new car.... I signed the papers and i was about the leave then i noticed that they sold to me extended service contract which costs about $4K. I felt myself like a xxxx !!! The sales person told me that i can apply for cancellation tomorrow morning. I could not sleep all night long and i was the dealer the next day early morning. I have waited the finance guy approx 3 hours and finally he got his office. After a long conversation he changed the papers and cancelled the extended service contract. I was happy that day because i was not thinking that they will create worse problems in future days. They had given me the 2020 Toyota Corolla and ONE key. I drive the car about 15 days then i got a call from the sales person who says that they could not get approval of my finance and i had to see the finance guy again... i was thinking how come this is possible because they had confirmed that my credit request has been approved already !!!!! I went to the dealer again and waited for the finance guy approx 2 hours. They dis not want to see me first because they were talking to the manager how they can solve my problem... Finally i entered his office and asked what wrong is with my finance approval. He told me that i need to BUY the extended service contract otherwise he can’t help me at all !!!! I asked what if i don’t want to buy the extended contract ? What is the next step ??? He told me that i will leave the Toyota Corolla Key and turn back to my house on foot !!!! I did not want to give the car back because i have already driven 2K miles and i was happy with it !!! On the other hand i was not wishing to have an extra loan for the bloody extended contract !!!! It took 2 more hours to negotiate and finally I HAD TO BUY THE EXTENDED BLOODY SERVICE CONTRACT !!!! I am not happy and still thinking what to do. Lakeland Toyota pushed me in a big xxxx.... I sent an email to TOYOTA USA for getting her help or advises. I recommend the TOYOTA BRAND, TOYOTO CARS but i don’t recommend Lakeland Toyota dealership. If you are not a native citizen, if your english is not good STAY AWAY from TOYOTA LAKELAND.... I made a big mistake please YOU DON’T. Regards More
