SELLS TRUCKS THAT WERE UNDER WATER I purchased a 2011 Ram 1500 from Lakeland Auto Mall a few months ago, the staff and sales personnel were very friendly and personal. The deal was ma I purchased a 2011 Ram 1500 from Lakeland Auto Mall a few months ago, the staff and sales personnel were very friendly and personal. The deal was made and I picked it up the next day after a seat bottom was fixed. The truck had 160k miles on it however the truck looked still new and was Extremely clean. So we took a chance on it. While driving home my wife who was following me called and told me that there was smoke coming out of the exhaust pipes. I called the dealership and was told that everyone was gone for the day and call tomorrow. I did spoke to Mike the uses car manager and he told me that there is no warranty and nothing that he was going to do but he would talk to the owners a d get back with me. Well not did he never get back to me, Mike nor the salesman return any of my calls or emails asking for help. 800 miles later my truck is at my local dealership getting a new engine, work needed on the rear end. The engine was so scared and band aid to cover up the problems. What happened to the major checklist that is supposed to be performed before any vehicle is supposed to go through before selling. Now that the engine has been replaced, my local Dodge Dealership has looked over this truck very carefully and reported, that this truck was under water at 1 time. There is rust in places that it should not be. For example, The truck has storage binds in the floor, there is a lot of rust there. Also the running boards, full of rust. It just goes on and on. For a dealership that boasts a major check list and safety checks, is just a bag of hot air. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LAKELAND AUTO MALL. Marc Ciolino Clermont Fla. When the parent called to ask about trying to have something done the only words that was said was you should’ve purchased the extended warranty which would’ve doubled her payments and she could not afford them I hope God praise for them for the wrong that they have done too A young single mother who now has to come up with money to fix the repair of the car that was sold for her two days after . She was so excited about purchasing and saving that money for a car for her and her child to have good transportation to him daycare and her to work just to have it stolen away by greed let it be known that car salesman there at Lakeland Automall are only out for your money I do not care about how they get it I hope they can sleep at night with them selves knowing what they do to their customers John Richardson was the leader along with his manager Tommy and Chris they all had a hand in stealing the first time sales of a young girl that works so hard and save the money that she did to have transportation for her and her son. Long distance transaction went perfectly!!! Tommy and Chris were all over this deal. I found the vehicle we were looking for on an online search engine and inquired through the dealership site. Within an hour I had heard back from them and they were searching for financing options. Tommy knew what price range and down payment I was looking at and found the right deal for me. Saturday evening we decided to head to Lakeland from Fort Myers and Tommy assured me that he would have his people waiting for our arrival... Not only was he a man of his word but he himself showed up on his day off to help make things go smoothly for us. Tommy's guy Chris was very helpful, he answered all of our questions and even had the car detailed and gassed up for our trip back to Fort Myers. I can't say enough good about these guys. This was BY FAR the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. In a crazy make a buck world like this, I was very pleased to meet and do business with Tommy and Chris. Thanks guys, I will be back in the future!!! More

Positive Purchase Experience Destroyed Upon Vehicle Delivery A very positive purchase experience turned horrible upon delivery of the vehicle. A dealership that evidenced a clear understanding of customer servic A very positive purchase experience turned horrible upon delivery of the vehicle. A dealership that evidenced a clear understanding of customer service somehow allowed the experience to deteriorate to a state of unacceptable service upon delivery of a purchased vehicle. Somehow the vehicle sustained a scratch (actually gouge) in the passenger door while the vehicle was in the cleaning and detail shop. The condition was brought to the attention of sales staff who offered to repair the damage. The vehicle that was purchased is hardly the vehicle that was delivered. Moreover, it seems astonishing the detail shop would attempt to conceal such obvious damage. Faith and trust was utterly destroyed in less time than it took to negotiate a purchase. Sales staff who exhibited a very strong understanding of customer service suddenly revealed their more sinister persona of "unfortunate things happen". More

My advisor came and talked to me about changing the air filter and replacing the wiper blades which was fine as the they were two years old now. One of the other things I observed while sitting in the lounge area was I watched different employees come up to the Frisco Cafe and I noticed the interactions that were taking place. The worker at Frisco's and the Ford employees all seemed happy and liked each other. All of these interactions tell me that something is being done right, and that in my opinion is the employees are treated fairly and with respect. More
