If you promise, do it. I left my house keys in the vehicle that was traded in. I was promised that they would be mailed. After they failed to show up, I complained. It is vaguely plausible that the keys were mailed and came back to the dealership, color me skeptical. When I paid for the car, I was promised that the dealership would call my insurance whose name and phone number I provided. I had met with him and told him that I was going to buy a car. He told me to ask the dealership to phone him with the VIN number. When new insurance cards fail to arrive I went to the agency. No call was ever made. I was driving uninsured on those items that are vehicle specific for three weeks. I have no problem if you tell me that I must make the arrangement. But, pissed when you say you will, don't and do not inform me that you will not follow through. More
