Not a pleasant experience purchasing our new vehicle Bought a new F-150 and the only reason we did business was that they were the only ones in the upstate with the vehicle I was looking for. The salesman had very little knowledge about the vehicle during the test drive. For the test drive, apparently no one at the dealership took a look at the vehicle as it was covered with leaves and pine straw, as well as, the gas tank was empty, showing only 6 miles of range. We had to stop at a gas station during the test drive and add fuel. The dealer is sly in how they present the price of their vehicles. To begin discussion on the vehicle, the salesman was insisting that we sign a form that stated to the effect "if you like the price of the vehicle you will purchase it today." I've bought numerous cars and have never signed such a document. The salesman said it wasn't binding - but if it isn't binding, why would someone have to sign it? Only when the owner saw us at the desk did he stop by and tell us it wasn't needed. They quoted a "sticker" price that was actually higher than the bottom line on the window sticker - including the manufacturer package discounts as if it was something they were supplying. The dealership facility was in need of serious repair. Numerous ceiling tiles, missing, stained, or broken. Electrical hanging from the ceiling. Flooring stained. Essentially the facility is very run down. Overall, it wasn't a very pleasant experience purchasing our new vehicle. More
