Traveled from MT to this dealership to pick up a new truck. Price was reasonable and there weren't any last minute changes to the price like other dealers. Unfortunately not a good experience. Several cars purchased through this dealership, but I took my 2017 Grand Cherokee SRT in for brakes, oil change, and some trim repair previously recal Several cars purchased through this dealership, but I took my 2017 Grand Cherokee SRT in for brakes, oil change, and some trim repair previously recalled by Chrysler. I contacted the dealership and began the process of choosing brake options around the end of October. The then service manager was helpful in finding the options I needed. The correct parts were finally delivered and ready to be installed on November 20. There were then delays of various kinds on their end, with no communication at all. I had to call them to find out what was going on every time. On December 24, I told them I had to have the work completed as I was going out of town soon. I finally received the car on December 26, with brakes installed (along with some other rodent damage repairs incurred in the wait time for the brakes). I asked confirmation on each repair, as I had a lengthy list back in October and wanted the situation completely resolved. The service managers Nathan and Randy confirmed that the brakes had been installed, the glove compartment fixed, and the oil changed. The following day, I noticed that the glove compartment was still broken and the oil life reading was 16%. I checked the oil and there was very clearly not enough in it. Not at all. I went to the dealership and they agreed that the Jeep needed oil, which I then left with them to fix. I picked the car up that same afternoon and judging from the oil streaming down both front quarter panels, it appears that they did indeed put oil in it this time. They said the glove compartment latch issue was a defect in Chrysler's design and there was nothing to be done about it. In following up with the Chrysler Customer Care Center, the representative did not at all share this opinion and referred me to another dealership near me to resolve the issue. I am done with this dealership, but the Care Center representative felt it appropriate to escalate the situation to a dealership complaint. They're all very polite and courteous people at Lake Keowee, but they clearly have some issues to work out in terms of service. I expected much more from an SRT-certified service department. More
