I had “The Works” which includes an oil change and “multi point inspection” 5 days prior. Everything apparently was good according to the report. Now, the brakes are making a grinding noise so I made an appointment online for one of the supposedly available slots to have it looked at. When I came in during the appointment time the service advisor said he had 51 cars in service so it could be from 2 days to up to 3 weeks before it could even be looked at. I was offered a rental car at $40 a day. That might be a reasonable price except there is no time estimate on when it can even be looked at? 3 weeks with a rental car is over $800. Remember, the inspection said everything was good, including the brakes. Were they even examined? If there were no actual slots available then the online system should reflect that so I don’t have to make a trip out there. 2 stars because at least the oil was changed and the advisor was upfront about the amount of vehicles, but marks off for no confidence in inspection and online system not syncing up with real life. Made an appointment 4 days in advance to get a shock absorber replaced that was leaking under warranty that they had to order. They call me back said it's in stock let's do the job on Monday morning, only to have to wait 1 and 1/2 hour for them to run crosstown to go get the shock absorber that they said they had in stock. Update, worked out a resolution with the service manager to my complete satisfaction. More
