My car died so my out-of-state girlfriend and I went to Braeger Ford. In the beginning it seemed to be a great dealership...till the financing part came into play. You would think that with a 787 credit score that there would be no issues. But, Kyle does not know his job nor does the other guy who does the financing. In the first place it is odd a dealership won't take personal checks. Who walks around with thousands of $$ in their pocket?? As a newbie to Wisconsin, I don't have a local bank yet and to add to it, I obviously don't have a Wisconsin driver's license. Unfortunately I am driving on a restricted driver's license so I have a legal document that is a temporary driver's license. It does not have my picture on it but I also carry my passport so I have a photo ID. This was not good enough for Kyle. He stated there is a new law where he has to actually "touch" a state issued photo ID. (Which I found out at another dealership is incorrect) After sitting most of that Saturday trying to get financing, it was obvious I could not meet Kyle's demands that day. (My girlfriend offered to Nick to pay by check for the vehicle and let them keep the check AND the vehicle till Monday when they could verify the check was good. He refused because of the "no check policy")So I took a half day off of work on Monday and asked the only local person I know to take me to the DMV so I could get a state ID and to bank to get a cashier's check for me. Wisconsin mails your ID's so I got a copy of it and faxed it to Braeger. Still wasn't good enough...they have to "touch" it! And I didn't find that out till the next Sat when my girlfriend could take me there! AND I found out they wouldn't accept the cashier's check because the remitter of the check showed my friend's name! The next dealership I went to could not believe the hassle I went thru! I had NO ISSUES with them or my financing!! I got a GREAT RATE, a GREAT VEHICLE and was treated with respect even with my unusual circumstance!! More

Overall, my experience with Braeger was good. I mostly worked with Dan McKnight who was very helpful. After I picked up the car, I noticed the fan made a clicking noise. Dan was off that day, so I spoke with Nick Burkee about the issue. He said he would schedule me a service appointment for the following day and would let Dan know about the issue. When I came in the following day I found out that Nick did not schedule the appointment and did not inform Dan of the issue. I had to then schedule a service appointment for the following week. This is not that big a deal. It is just a little annoying and I hope it doesn't happen again. Another issue came up when we came to pick up the car. I requested that the car be washed before we came to pick it up. However this was not done meaning that we would have to come back to pick up the car the next day. Again, this was a little annoying but not that big of a deal. Dan responded to the issue by offering to drop the car off at my house the next day and putting a little gas in it. As I mentioned before, the overall experience with Braeger was good. More
I loved my old car, but it was time to get a new one. When we decided to start looking we began our search at Breager. I never felt that uncomfortable feeling most people talk about when going to buy a new car. We went to several dealerships before returning to Breager. Now I will be honest, this place isn't the flashiest in town but... The people are outstanding and their prices were un-beatable. Randy made the whole process easy and comfortable and even talked directly to me. See I'm a woman, car shopping with my husband (who knows nothing about cars) yet, everyone else always seemed to talk to him, even though it was a car for me. Randy, treated me with respect and valued what I had to say. Thanks Randy, I LOVE my new car! More
Where to begin... well, its one thing to have new employees. Its another to have them not really know anything about the new cars they are selling. My half an hour of online research made me more qua employees. Its another to have them not really know anything about the new cars they are selling. My half an hour of online research made me more qualified than Jim, who knew very little of the options available or specs on Ford Fiestas. That made me feel a little uncomfortable with the process, but I had done enough online research to feel good about where I was going. That should have been a warning sign. Jim and the dealership misled me about the availability of Sirius in the vehicle. I was given plenty of marketing information and was repeatedly told that there would be a six month free trial of Sirius. Not only was this not the case, I found out that there is not even a Sirius receiver in the vehicle. Jim was sooo kind as to do the research for me and to provide me with multiple options all in which I had to pay hundreds of dollars for the solution. I am not paying $350 to install a Sirius receiver in the car and I do not want the external system for a lower price. Not only did they misrepresent the car, the finance department was extremely lax in getting the credit union my loan information. It took them over a month and I had to follow up multiple times with the salesperson who again was sooo kind in providing me with the credit union's phone number so that I could do my own research on whether or not the dealership would ever get the paperwork over there. Well, they did AFTER THE FIRST PAYMENT DUE DATE. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS UNPROFESSIONAL. That is extremely ridiculous considering the fact I told them my wife was pretty sure she would purchase a Focus soon. NOT GOING BACK TO BRAEGER FOR THAT. More
I had recently been in an accident that wasn't my fault and my car was totaled. So there was a lot of stuff to deal with and I dreaded looking for a car after it all, but Dave was great! He made it a very and my car was totaled. So there was a lot of stuff to deal with and I dreaded looking for a car after it all, but Dave was great! He made it a very easy, quick, and painless experience. He was very personable, friendly, and not pushy at all. I felt very comfortable around him and never pressured into anything I was unsure about. He was able to answer all our questions and definitely knew what he was talking about. As my first time buying a car from a dealership I was very pleased and happy that Dave was my sales representative! He even added his own personal touch and had new windshield wipers put on, filled the tank with gas, put on both plates, and shined up the tires! I think he went above and beyond and I can't say enough how great he was! More

None of them caught our eye until we found one listed on Braegger's website. Braegger's is 3 hours away and we wondered if it would be worth the trip. We couldn't stop thinking about this car and decided to take the 3 hour drive. My husband and Rich had been talking throughout the week and told him we would be in Sat. morning. When we pulled up he greeted us by our first names and made the whole experience very comfortable. Rich treated all of us like royalty, even our 6 year old daughter named Katie. Hot chocolate, leather sofa, a kids movie, and Katie was happy as a lark while the adults worked on the negotiation process. The numbers worked out and Heather the financial lady came into the office. My husband and I were dreading it, signing papers and working out payments is never fun. However, she made it fun, in fact our tummies were sore from laughing. Their customer service was fantastic and we would definately drive the 3 hours again. As Katie would put it the Mustang is one sweet ride. My husband and I would put it as one of the best car buying experiences ever! More

The whole deal started with us looking for a car good on fuel for my husband to drive back and forth to work in. After looking for a few days I asked my husband to give Braeger Ford a try as I had purchased fuel for my husband to drive back and forth to work in. After looking for a few days I asked my husband to give Braeger Ford a try as I had purchased a vehicle there in the past and was happy with the service. We got a very well maintained 2001 Nissan with low mileage, what my husband was looking for, for a great price. After the first successful purchase my husband decided he liked the service we got and we returned, only 4 weeks later. My husband and I were now looking to get rid of our 04 Trailblazer, 04 Silverado, and Jayco camper. Not only did Dan take them all in on trade, he found the exact vehicle we were looking for because the Tahoe we wanted was not on the Braeger lot. Dan did very well dealing with my very particular and persistent husband. Dan was friendly and helpful, even returning our calls on days that he was not in the office. He made sure that we were both happy - from start to finish and even now after the deals are done. Very highly recommended! As my husband stated unitl the successful completeion of the second deal - we are now Braeger cutsomers for life!! More
