Easy to deal with in a low pressure environment made my car buying experience a pleasure. I visited Braeger twice to look at several different used cars. The sales person (Nick Strickling) was excellent -- professional, knowledgable and friendly -- and I didn't feel pressured to decide more quic cars. The sales person (Nick Strickling) was excellent -- professional, knowledgable and friendly -- and I didn't feel pressured to decide more quickly than I wanted to. The other employees I encountered briefly, in finance and the service center, also were welcoming, friendly and professional. I looked at numerous other dealers, and felt that Braeger's prices were good, but, more importantly, I felt that I could trust the dealership and the cars that they were offering for sale. Excellent experience all around! More
When I arrived at the dealership the vehicles were snow covered from the weather we just had. Within a few minutes of being there Rik Emerick walked outside to greet us. He then cleared all of the snow off covered from the weather we just had. Within a few minutes of being there Rik Emerick walked outside to greet us. He then cleared all of the snow off of the vehicles I was interested in and began answering my questions or concerns. I was looking at the Fusions and the Escapes. I told him the reasons why I liked both of them. We then test drove one of each. He explained the controls and options each vehicle had. He asked how each felt and we talked for awhile about both. We then decided that the Fusion would be the better decision for me. He asked about my current vehicle and if I was trading it in. I said yes, we both then walked around my current vehicle which was an Expedition and he was valuing it for the trade. We went to the office and started on the appraisal for the Expedition and the paperwork for the purchase of the Fusion. During this process we had some car stories to talk about. When all the paperwork was complete we made an appointment for me to come back the next day for delivery and final paperwork. He stayed a little later than closing time to answer and questions or concerns I had. The next day I arrived and he greeted me at the door opening it for me. The Fusion was parked in the front row already cleaned and ready for pickup. We then finished our paperwork and while waiting on insurance information and the finance dept we started going through the controls on the Fusion. Rik Emerick helped me sync my phone to the car and showed me how to make calls and use my music library on my phone. We made a test call to the dealership to make sure it was working. I had a few questions that he answered. Then we both went through the Expedition for any personal items to be transferred to the Fusion. Afterwards we went to the finance dept and I talked to Heather Kruse and she went through all of the final paperwork and signatures. She explained current vehicle warranties and the extended warranty programs. I gave her my down payment and final signed the necessary paperwork. Then Rik Emerick brought me back to the car and we drove back to the service dept and met with some of the people back there to set up an appt for the first inspection and fluid level check. Rik explained that I get a car wash anytime I want and to just bring it in before 5pm and above 35 degrees. He said when I come in ask for him and he will buy me a soda while I wait for the wash. I then drove the car off the lot. I felt like I had excellent service the entire time. Rik took the time to answer all my questions as they came up. He talked to me on a personal level and did not pressure me at all. He wanted to make sure I walked out feeling like I purchased a car that is a "ten". I have been to other dealerships and car lots and it seems like they just want the money and move you along. That is not at all how I felt here. I will definitely recommend this dealership to family and friends. I look forward to returning with any vehicle needs in the future. Thanks again to everyone at Braeger!! More

It’s one of those rare occurrences when customer service exceeds all expectations. The search for my ’09 Jeep Liberty ended after I was referred by friends to Braeger. As in the past when visiting dealer exceeds all expectations. The search for my ’09 Jeep Liberty ended after I was referred by friends to Braeger. As in the past when visiting dealerships, I fashioned myself for battle…wearing a suit of armor, ready to play hardball, negotiate, and bargain. To my astonishment, I didn’t need any of those car-buying tactics that I’d used in the past! It was so refreshing to work with Nick Strickling. I don’t even think of him as a salesman, because he did not use the “hard-sell” tactics so stereotypical of car dealerships. I knew that I wanted a 4WD truck and I knew how much I wanted to spend. He never tried to talk me into anything I did not want or need. Prior to Braeger, I had visited another dealership that was trying to sell me RWD even though I actually wanted 4WD, but this wasn’t the case with Nick. He is a great listener and communicator and he patiently answered my complete list of questions. I apologized to him because I thought I was asking too many questions, but he only encouraged me to keep asking more. He reviewed all of the features of my new Jeep and introduced me to the service team. I felt important and appreciated and not like “just another sale”. What really impressed me was when Nick said his job didn’t end as soon as he handed me the keys to my new car. He explained his job was only beginning, because he wants to make sure that his customers are satisfied and keep coming back. I felt like he really had my back and that he sympathized with the car buyer, knowing how hard it can be to purchase a vehicle. Dan McKnight, Braeger's Floor Manager, was great with giving me the best value for my trade-in, even though Braeger only made a $19 profit! Heather Kruse, Braeger’s Finance Manager, is a complete doll. You can tell she truly loves her job and she is great at it. She is sincere, personable, and has the buyer’s best interests in mind. She got me the best interest rate and made the paperwork process easy for me. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. She answered all of my questions regarding warranties and she took her time to go through all of the forms with me. The whole process was simple and effortless because of Heather. She also contacted my insurance agent to take care of the vehicle transfer and she even had my new renewal stickers ready to hand me. Free car washes for as long as I own the vehicle is the extra cherry on top, too! I am so impressed with Braeger and will be recommending them to everyone who wants quality and a positive experience. I feel like I did not just buy a car, instead I found this gem of a dealer and we will be building a lifelong relationship together. Braeger left such a huge impression on me that when I drove away in my new Jeep, I thought how great it must be to work there. Everyone genuinely seems to love what they do and they work together as a team striving for the same goal, which is not easy to achieve in today’s workplace and is quite remarkable. Braeger has elevated itself above the competition and it’s their award-winning reputation and excellent staff that sells its brand. Congratulations to the management for employing such upstanding people and reinventing the car-buying experience. - Chandra (very satisfied customer!) More

I was looking for a specific vehicle and after reviewing several on line new car sales sites I contacted Braeger Ford and had the pleasure of dealing with Dan. Dan was very open minded and understood very well my methodical approach at purchasing a vehicle. Dan had the best deal and was easy to work with and understood that the best way to deal with me was the little/no pressure approach. I drove 3 hours one way to get this vehicle and would not deter anyone from doing the same. This isn't the first time I have gone a distance to get a vehicle and have driven even farther before but I have to say this was the best on-line process I have had to date. It took 3 weeks to complete but that was only due to my methodical approach. A+ for Dan! More
This was the first time I have purchased a new vehicle, previously purchased a used vehicle from this same dealership and each time was a very good experience. Buying a new 2013 Escape was much easier tha previously purchased a used vehicle from this same dealership and each time was a very good experience. Buying a new 2013 Escape was much easier than I thought it would be, there was no pressure and customer service was excellent. I am happy with the vehicle and was able to get everything that I was looking for. Dan was great and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new Ford. More
I purchased a new 2011 F-150 that listed for over $47,000. in November of 2011. This past October I noticed that a relatively minor plastic end cap was missing from the running board. I immediately $47,000. in November of 2011. This past October I noticed that a relatively minor plastic end cap was missing from the running board. I immediately went to the service department with the intention of simply buying the part as I keep my vehicles in very good condition. Because the truck had only about 20K miles on it at that time it might be covered under warranty. The service manager took pictures of the running board and e-mailed them to some unknown entity. She then told me that Ford would not replace the end cap because somebody made the decision that my truck must have suffered some impact to lose a plastic part. This decision was based on a photo that clearly shows no damage! After complaining about getting a run-around from the service department and Ford Motor Customer relations they decided they would, after all, replace the small end cap at their cost. At their direction, I made repeated trips back to the dealer to get the part installed but they kept telling me that "the wrong part came in and they would have to re-order". I even offered to install it myself with the Ford plastic pop-rivets but they said they must do it to not void the warranty. Then, after 2 months of stalling, they told me they changed their mind on the replacement and the part was no longer available, blaming the whole issue on somebody at Ford. They told me I must buy an entire running board at a cost of over $1000. just to get the plastic end cap. I then contacted the BBB as instructed in the Ford Warranty Guide but they naturally have sided with Braeger Ford's stance as Ford is a paid member of BBB. They maintain that a plastic rivet could never break! They, evidently, do not realize that plastic does break and it does fail, especially in Wisconsin weather. I love the vehicle but am extremely dis-satisfied with Braeger Ford and the Ford Motor Company for shuffling me around for over 2 months over a somewhat simple plastic part. I can't help but wonder how they would service something more critical. More
