I purchased my vehicle 4 months ago with an extended warranty witch includes free maintenance . I took my car in for the first maintenance at another dealer closer to me and to my surprise they said I warranty witch includes free maintenance . I took my car in for the first maintenance at another dealer closer to me and to my surprise they said I didn’t have any contract saying I have free maintenance . I called lake Elsinore to see what was going on because they had said I had gotten an extended warranty plan with my vehicle they even added the payments on to my loan . They said they saw that I do have the mopar service plan witch includes free maintenance but they don’t know why it was showing up . I later found out someone on their side dropped the ball and never made a contract for my extended warranty yet it’s on my loan. I’ve been paying for a service I apparently don’t have!! I was trying to get this issue resolve the whole day while my car was at maintenance and they just seem to disregard and ignore the situation. I had to call various times to try to get a hold of Carlos from the finance department .He said he was going to reach out to me first thing Monday at 11 I waited till 1 and didn’t receive a call . I had to finally reach out to him to try to get my issue resolved and see what was going to happen since I did pay for having this service they were giving me the run around saying “yes ,he’s here I’ll transfer your call “ . I wouldn’t get a response or get him to pick up the phone .I was on stand by waiting for a call I saw my phone ring once and when I was going to pick it up he just hung up and I called back immediately and again no answer or call back it seemed to me like he was dodging my calls . I finally had to get my husband to call too so we can get this issue resolved . Carlos finally called me back at 3pm and apologized why it took so long to contact me he supposedly was In a meeting the whole day and couldn’t get back to me okay what ever so he said to send the recipient of where I took my car for maintenance and was going to reimburse me which I have not yet received and it’s now been 4 days and that I was going to get assigned to the dealer I got the service done at . The dealer I went to for maintenance got a hold of me this morning it is now Thursday, to ask me how everything was and if my issue got resolved and I told them yes it did because that’s what I thought and I told them from now on I will be assigned for maintenance at their dealer and she was nice enough to ask if I wanted her to check just so when I go in I won’t have any trouble. I said yes, so she checked and said I have not yet been assigned to that dealer and to contact Lake Elsinore . I emailed Carlos again to see what’s going on that the other dealer let me know I was not yet assigned to them .He made a mistake again and assigned me to a dealer 1 hour away from where I am located and still said I agreed to this. I was very specific when I spoke to him on the phone I even told him the city I am in, I even sent him a receipt of where I went i don’t understand how he could have gotten it wrong . At this point it’s just neglect on his part . This is frustrating because here I am again waiting on a response from him !! More
Started back in May, took the vehicle in for warranty repair items. First they replaced the thermostat and we had to wait for the water pump to come in as we were losing coolant, they wanted to do a coo repair items. First they replaced the thermostat and we had to wait for the water pump to come in as we were losing coolant, they wanted to do a coolant flush during the thermostat switch which made no sense as by replacing the water pump they would have to add more coolant at that time. Either way I approved it. Then our back up camera wasn't working either. They had the vehicle for much longer then we were quoted, got the vehicle back and no more coolant leak but back up camera still not working properly. Paid my warranty deductible at that time anyway. Took vehicle back in Aug as there was still a issue with the camera, they took it in and then charged me a diagnostic fee of I believe $310, for a warranty repair that they had already worked on. Waited 3 months with absolutely no word from them about the camera, called again and was told it was a custom part they were waiting on from Chrysler so I called Dodge in Temecula and Norco, come to find out that the wiring harness was in stock on the East Coast. So I call the service dept, confirmed it would work, asked why I had to find this part on my own when they couldn't then was told the part would be in Nov 4. Didnt hear back until I called on 11/15 to be told the part "just came in". Scheduled vehicle for 11/23 and told them we would need to pick up 11/28, well vehicle wasn't done. When I asked why, they stated they didn't have any bays open so my vehicle that I made an appointment for sat for 5 days before being touched. Taylor then told me I needed $2000 worth of other work (including the above mentioned coolant flush again) when I told her I approved that previously she told me that I was correct and it had been done but when I spoke to the person in accounting they stated they never did a coolant flush so I dont know who is lying to me. Also told me I needed service on my transmission that isn't even 6 months old. Called another dodge dealership and got a quote for exact same service and it was half the price. Then when we finally pick the van up a day late we were charged another warranty deductible, when I stated not only did I pay it the first time I also paid a diagnostic fee I was told it was because I picked up the van while waiting on the part... they were supposed to just hold my van for 3 months??? So now I have spent over $500 for a warranty repair, was down a work vehicle for approximately 15-20 days throughout the ordeal, and to top that off there was also damage done to the passenger door that they denied even though I brought it to their attention immediately after we picked it up, they wanted to charge $185 to diagnose it. Update- On top of all the above and below now my interior lights dont work! Come to find out they were never connected back Update- after getting in contact with Don the service manager he agreed I was improperly charged $185 diagnostic, the additional amount of the $310 was for a oil change. Update 2- Went today to get the refund, Don is no longer there and the new manager said he'd have to look into it. Dallas Ford has not returned a phone call, text or email. He reached out asking to speaker but then disappeared. More
