I paid honest money for this service center to tell me what I already knew (seized hatch). The parts and labor came to about $1200, just to replace two hatch struts! Appalled, I started looking for aftermarket parts while still seated at this shop. Within 15 minutes of leaving I purchased the parts with warranty for $120 and secured a trusted local shop to do the work for less than their hourly labor rates. $270 versus $1200? That's almost a 350% increase! From a dealership that brags about transparency and being local, I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. Their own service representative told me my car was probably a lemon, and I bought it from them just over six months ago! This is a lot more than bad service, this is a scam. I won't spend another dime here and I'll advise others to do the same. This is a prime example of why dealerships have a bad name and it's always wiser to go with locally owned small businesses that care about their reputation and the people they serve.
