No problem with the dealership per se. However, the service department certainly needs improvement in providing prompt service. It took over 2 weeks to get an appointment for an oil change, and then it took 3 hours and 10 minutes of waiting for the service dept. to determine if my vehicle needed a front end alignment. I arrived at Lake Country Toyota at 11:10, instructing the rep to perform the scheduled oil change, and front end alignment. At 2:20 the rep approached the bored silly customer informing me that the front end was slightly out of alignment, and wanting to know if I wanted the alignment done. Huh, 3 hours and 10 minutes after bringing my vehicle in for an alignment, the guy wants to know if I want an alignment - they haven’t even begun the alignment. Perhaps they could have shown some consideration, and informed the customer it would take over three hours to decide if the vehicle needed an alignment. I would have declined, and saved myself the long hours waiting..Long story short (unlike the alignment service), I spent half a work day (over 4 hours) at the dealership waiting for them to perform a service that typically takes an hour to an hour and a half. When I was finally called to the service desk (after contemplating filing a change of address), I asked the rep what time it was. He said 3:11, and I told him to write that time on the work order. He wrote 3pm, obviously minimizing the actual service time. I quickly corrected him, insisting he write the actual time, and he reluctantly added the 3:11. Anyway you look at it, making the customer wait 4 hours for a service that should have taken an hour to an hour and a half, is inconsiderate, and totally unacceptable. Dan Buche More
Purchased a 2022 Toyota Highlander XLE and worked with Cory Wellman on getting the vehicle ordered. He was great to work with along with everyone else I had contact with. Cory Wellman on getting the vehicle ordered. He was great to work with along with everyone else I had contact with. More
