We were traveling across country on a lengthy family summer trip when trouble struck our Ford F-350 (in southern Illinois at the time). It was drivable but clearly needed service. I called ahead to Laird Noller Ford in Lawrence KS where we would be for two days. Mike Smith found a way to take care of us in the tight window of time we had in our travel itinerary. He knew full well it is highly unlikely we'd be a repeat customer, being from out of town, just passing through, but he squeezed us in and put his best diesel mechanic (Leon Reed) on the job as well. Our trip's continued from there and the truck is purring like it should. Thanks guys, you saved our summer vacation!!! More
