Faith Restored I have had the issue with my air bag light being on since I purchased my car in 2007. I had brought it in to the dealership several times and was told I have had the issue with my air bag light being on since I purchased my car in 2007. I had brought it in to the dealership several times and was told nothing was wrong and all that was done was the computer was reset and days later the light would come back on. With the recent recall I thought my problem would be resolved, but alas it was not. The recall was not causing my particular problem. When the cause was identify I was told it would cost me out of pocket. Not happy. Jessica went above and beyond to get this issue resolved for me and at no cost to myself. Because of her perseverance my next car will also be a Hyundai. More

Poor communication, they got me again. Years ago I promised that I'd never take my car to Laird Noller again. After they replaced the body control module in my other car not once, not twice Years ago I promised that I'd never take my car to Laird Noller again. After they replaced the body control module in my other car not once, not twice, but three times on my 2006 Mazda 6, and was condescendingly talked down to when I mentioned that this is a known issue all over the internet, I swore I would never go back... Then I received a notice in the mail about a safety recall on my Hyundai Elantra. I figured I would give Laird Noller another chance since taking it to a dealership in Olathe is a pain. Despite the fact that this should have been a free service since there was a safety issue with my car, I was then called after that service was complete to be sold ~$1,200 worth of repairs for my car. After I declined to get any of the work done, because it seemed hilarious to me that a company would try to sell me over $1,000 after a simple (and free) recall service, I called my wife. She convinced me that we should probably get the front tires and breaks replaced while we were in there and I listened to her. I called them back to let them know to go ahead and do the front breaks and tires. He quoted me over the phone $103 per tire and ~$188 for the breaks (~$400 total which he said he would email me an invoice) and when I asked if they can get it done that day, he said he would check and call me back in 5 minutes. Over an hour later they called and said they could. I said that I needed to give them payment over the phone as I work out of town and would need to pick it up after hours. He said he would call back after the service was complete. At about 15 minutes before they closed, they had still not contacted me so I called them. I talked to a different person on the phone who then tried to tell me that it was going to be $600 for the service. Again, I was shocked. After hearing minutes of typing, he found the mistake and I thought "great, this will get back to around $400 +tax like I was told." Wrong. He said that it was almost $500. The service rep I previously talked to neglected to tell me about the mounting and balancing fee of ~$50. At this point I needed to get my car so I just gave him my payment info and hung up. I thought that would be the end of the terrible service that I received from Laird Noller, but I was wrong. After I got my car and looked at the attached paperwork it showed that one of the line items for service was a "complementary car wash, $7.99 value!". Was my car even remotely washed? No. I will never take my car to Lair Noller ever again, and I will make sure that everyone I talk to does the same. More
Service with Laird Noller Hyundai Service has always been excellent with Laird Noller. Jessica has been the most recent service rep on my last two visits and I couldn't be more pleased. She is excellent! Very customer focused, reviews all the information, various options, and provides enough detail on what/when a particular type of service is needed.
