Price Had a leak in the brake booster on my 2013 Ford Escape. Only brought to Dealership because of a door latch recall that needed to be addressed as well Had a leak in the brake booster on my 2013 Ford Escape. Only brought to Dealership because of a door latch recall that needed to be addressed as well. $770 bill to replace a $159 part. Charged $90 to diagnose the problem, $459 for labor, $22 for 4 hex nuts, old ones were left on the floorboard, and $33 for shop supplies. Just seemed like a lot for labor, didn't tell me how many hours it took but Mike did me an accurate estimate of what it would cost. Dealership did give me a loaner to use because it took 4-5 days for parts to arrive. I did purchase the car new from Laird Noller. Treated well but dealership always is higher, but this was a lot higher. I think you need more master techs because it was a week before I could even get in for the initial appointment. More
