Starting Issue. Josh got the car fixed in a timely manner and his confidence in the replacement of the starter motor being the problem was great. In researching the problem that Ford has with the 2016 explorers I realized that there does not seem to be a good communication to Ford HQ and back to the dealers on the exact issue that my car was having. It seems to me that a quick search within all dealers of the problem would render the answer and the repair. The videos that I saw on the internet of the exact problem that my car was having where all users said the dealers did not know what the problem was. There are a lot of problems with in 2016 with issues of the explorers coming to a stall while going highway 60 to 75 mph. I wonder now that this problem with the starter that I had could be the same issue as I read abought on the internet. The dealer I used before said I needed a new battery and I had them replace it. The car has 18,000 plus miles on it and both battery and starter should not have needed replacement. I had a good experience with Laird Noller and will return for service there. Regards Doug More
Disappointed I usually have a great experience with the service department. They would call to update about any service I might be having. This time I had to call twice and ask about my car. I also needed it by 4. I had to wait unti 4:30. Paperwork wasn’t even ready. Oil change was done but 2 other problems were not fixed. No one called me to update that problem. Another appointment had to be made so tech could devote his time to understanding the problem with my back up camera. More
True Hospitality! I was traveling from TX to visit my mother and my wiper fluid was freezing during a cold snap, ice all over my windshield; you guys drained the useles I was traveling from TX to visit my mother and my wiper fluid was freezing during a cold snap, ice all over my windshield; you guys drained the useless fluid and refilled with the correct wiper fluid that wouldn’t freeze, free of charge.
