I own a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid and I usually go to a dealer, because I am afraid to bring my SUV to someone not familiar with Hybrids. I made an appointment for my SUV because my engine light was on. I got O’Reilly to pull the codes to make sure that it was really something. They indicated a P0193 indicating a Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor had high voltage input for a predetermined period of time. Since I had no idea what this meant, I went to a Ford Service Center to get it fixed and added an oil change. When I arrived they told me they had no time to do check engine lights, but when I told them what the code was, they found time to research it and it cost me $190 to confirm it. I told them about the code when I made the appointment but they couldn’t get the part and I never got it fixed. I also noticed that one of my tires had a flap of rubber cut on the tire side, so I changed the appointment to 7:30 to 5:00 and added four new tires (which were on sale) and since the tires had to come off I also had the brakes done. They had a tire sale, but they didn’t have any tires. They got the tires, from another store, but they couldn’t figure out how to credit me the sale. They finally installed the tires but couldn’t balance them, so now I have new tires but my car feels like it has Parkinson’s. I have never had a problem with my car battery, but all of a sudden after being told it was bad and that I didn’t think it needed to be changed, I was not able to get my car to start. Maybe a coincidence. I got a new battery installed from O’Reilly this evening. Now I need to go and get my codes fixed elsewhere. My tire pressure sensor light indicates it is faulty, and I need to find a place to get my tires balanced. This service center is a mess. I made an appointment, but they never checked it. When I called to extend the appointment they had no knowledge of it. When I asked if I should expand the appointment to account for the tires they asked me to leave it all day, but even with the extra time they were unable to do the work. They couldn’t do what I requested, but had time to check every other system and offer to make me pay for it. New battery, additions to the oil and engine, new wiper blades, etc. but not the check engine light or complete my tire installation. I am afraid to go back but I can’t find another place to have the work done. The service center requested that I give them a 5 but I really want to give them a zero. More

Disappointing service once again. This is a consistent occurrence with this dealership and will definitely seek better service elsewhere moving forward. More
