Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with a vehicle that won’t start, especially when the battery is fairly new. When your Mazda was towed in after hours, we offered a free battery test to help identify the issue, and our technicians found that the battery had completely failed. Since the battery was replaced about six months ago by another provider, we offered to return it to you for a small core fee in case you wanted to pursue a warranty claim with the original battery shop, but we completely understand your decision to move forward with replacing it here instead. After the replacement, we also performed a parasitic draw test to check for any underlying electrical issues and found nothing out of spec at that time. However, we did let you know that some Mazda models can experience intermittent issues with certain modules not shutting off properly, which could cause the battery to drain unexpectedly. If the issue returns, that may require additional diagnostics to pinpoint. Our goal is always to get your vehicle back to you in reliable condition, and we appreciate the opportunity to assist. If you have any further concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we're here to help. We're sorry if these were not relayed to you properly during your visit.
