We located this dealership via the internet and Mike Smith promptly responded to our request. In a very short time he located the car we wanted. He made this transaction very easy. We live near Springfield, MO and could not find what we were looking for here and began searching for dealerships nearer our daughter who lives in Kansas City, MO. When we got to the dealership everyone we encountered was amazingly accommodating and very welcoming. It was well worth the drive to have this sort of experience when buying a new car. We live in Overland Park (they are in Lawrence...45 miles away) and Greg Cooper actually brought the car down here to the house. My first contact with him was on his day off fishing and he answered his cell without hesitation. I was able to do a complete inspection of the vehicle, drive it out and could even have taken it over to my mechanic if I wished. The car was impeccable (and had a free "clean" Carfax). I wish I'd had Greg as a rep when I had my business. He does a great job of fulfilling needs and recognizing when not to "sell." We had some common interests, and he listened more than he talked. Great sense of humor and was able to walk away from the deal and still like each other if that was the deal. We cut the deal at my table and he delivered the car and paperwork to us the next day. He assisted my wife with the Bluetooth and door opener while he was here and showed her all the bells and whistles. It was the best experience I've ever had with a car dealership...no running back and forth to his manager...just a straightforward he could do the deal or not. Laird Nollen should be complimented for having the trust in their staff to act for them without intense oversight. Just very refreshing to see. My wife absolutely loves the car and I couldn't compliment Laird Noller and Greg more. More
I have to say that I was very impressed. This was my first car that I purchased all on my own. I visited the dealership about a month ago. Did not find the right fit for what I was looking for. About two weeks later, my sales person Mike Smith, called to say that he had gotten me approved for a loan and that he had found me a car. I about dropped the phone. I had no idea that he had continued to work on the sale for me. I came in, looked at the car and liked it, so we started the process of the sale. That shows commitment to his customers! I have never had a sales person search for a car for me for two weeks without me knowing about it. That was impressive and I will come back to this dealership for that reason. My friends have all been told that Mike Smith at Laird Noller really has his customers interest at heart and I thank him for that. Thanks Mike!! More
My experience at laird Noller was the best car buying experience in my life. Josh hocke was outstanding , he took care of everything and listened to what I wanted and did not try to sell me something I d experience in my life. Scott in finance is exceptional , He was very kind and patient , he explained everything to us and also shopped around and got us a very good interest rate . Updated Review --- Initially I had a great experience purchasing a car with Laird Noller. Two days later I found the clear coat peeling and requested assistance to cover the estimated repair cost of $1, purchasing a car with Laird Noller. Two days later I found the clear coat peeling and requested assistance to cover the estimated repair cost of $1,022. Laird Noller's contribution brought my estimate repair cost to $964. I am very disappointed that I chose to purchase a car and now have a $964 bill that has to be paid before the winter. I am a working single mother and I am shocked that after all the rave reviews on Laird Noller that they were unable to assist me further than their offer. I would have never asked for assistance if some time had gone by. But my request from a problem two days later does not seem unreasonable to me. Although I love the car I bought, I feel regret in this experience. More
