Poor Service Was told the recall work would take a maximum of 2 hours, ended up being 3.25 hours. Then when I received the truck back the radio features; radio, back up camera, phone connection were not working! so had to turn around and spend another 15 minutes while they took it back into the shop and figured out what the new issue was. Will take the truck elsewhere if it has to have any other recall work performed!! More

Typically a positive experience...not this time! I had called about a week ahead of time to schedule an appointment for an oil change. Prior to my appointed time, I received two email notifications. I had called about a week ahead of time to schedule an appointment for an oil change. Prior to my appointed time, I received two email notifications...one for verification of the appointment time and one stating a revised appointment time which was for the same time. While I waited for the vehicle to be serviced, I was approached about having the in-cabin air filter changed for a cost of $45.00. When the same man notified me that the service had been completed, he initiated a conversation that he had contacted the company with whom I had purchased a service package. He said that it was just for oil changes. I didn't understand his point because that is what I had called to schedule. Then I was presented with an invoice for approximately $79. When I questioned the difference between the price he had quoted me and the final invoice price, he told the cashier to reduce the amount of the labor. Once I got in my Edge, I noticed dirty hand prints all over the glove box. This is the first visit to the service center at Laird Noller Ford that left me disappointed. I quit taking our vehicles to Quik Lane on Wanamaker because I always felt we were up-charged for services provided and/or services were manufactured to increase the amount of the charges. Not a good time for this negative impression as I am nearing the end of my lease and will be making a new vehicle purchase. More
