The service counters are loud and not too welcoming but it has been my experience with any auto industry service that general customer service is not a top priority. More

I looked at another dealership in the area but happened to see a sign of Laird Noller saying they would help if you have bad credit or no credit. I went home and applied online and received an email from Makenzie Bell, asking what kind of truck I was looking for and some basic questions. After an hour of emailing back and forth she had an appointment booked for me at the used car center on Monday. My salesman was Jim Belshe, before I even made it to his desk the manager Morgan Franklin came out and made introductions and made sure I had everything I needed. He offered me coffee and water and went and let Mr. Belshe know I was here. Mr. Belshe took me back to his cubicle and I pulled up a chair and we started talking about what I was looking for. Mr. Belshe was very attentive to my needs, desires for a vehicle and was not at pushy to get me into something I was not able to afford (like the other dealership did, heck I was not even greeted by a manager or offered anything at the other place) I felt very comfortable talking with Mr. Belshe and felt very good about my experience thus far, was kind of expecting the hard sell, not the case. I had my eye on 2 different vehicles, a 2008 GMC Canyon and a 2008 Ford F-150, after getting the information, he said he had a few ideas but wanted to talk to his manager first. After a brief wait, he came back and gave me the lowdown. Based on what I was able to afford we decided on looking at the Canyon, it was over at the service shop, so we walked up there to take a look at. I liked what I saw and it was very comfortable to sit in. Mr. Belshe got the keys and started the truck up very nice and quiet engine. He than drove it around the lot to see if he could recreate the issue the service department was noticing with it. Finally he asked if I wanted to take it for a drive, we drove it out to Rice road and back with no issues. I said I was very interested in purchasing the vehicle, mind you I had not planned on getting it today as my credit is shot after working at my last job for a year and not getting anywhere financially. He said lets see what we can do, after a mountain of paperwork and Mr. Belshe and his manager saying they will get the minor gremlins worked out (needed the codes reprogrammed and the water pump needed fixed). He walked me over to the finance office, granted I was thinking to myself, my credit sucks they are going to laugh me out of the building, but I was standing behind their promise to work with bad credit or credit being rebuilt. After what seemed like an eternity (only about 20 min) Mr. Belshe came out and got me in to see the finance officer, I do apologize in the world wind, I forgot his name. The finance officer invited me in and Mr. Belshe stepped out. The finance officer thoroughly went over all my options, I had to put a down deposit down but I said was not able to pay the full amount what could we do? He excused himself to call his manager who was in a meeting and they agreed on half that day and half on my next pay period. I am like where do I sign. The finance officer and Laird Noller, got me an amazing interest rate for my credit, a payment I could afford. Plus they allowed me to keep my car until my new truck was reprogrammed and the issues were solved. I walked into Laird Noller at 1115 am and walked out a little after 230pm. At no time did I feel pressure to buy a newer car or one that was out of my price range. It took some time finagling the finances, appraising my old car and going over the offer with a fine tooth comb. From emailing and finally meeting Makenzie Bell, to the Used Car Manager Morgan Franklin, the finance officer that took care of me ( I apologize for forgetting his name) I felt like a member of family not just another sale or a walking wallet. (Yes I was a little jaded from my dealings with the other dealership). I say run do not walk to Laird Noller for your next vehicle, I know I will definitely return in the future when I am ready to upgrade my GMC Canyon in a couple years.. Thank you for an amazing and relaxing experience you made my car buying experience painless and relaxing. More

Brian and **See Update Below** I have had the most amazing experiencce today withBrian George and Nick. I bought a car and it wasn't what i needed. Brian and Nick and Christian invited me back out to help me find the right fit. I admit I was a pain in the butt that first day. I wasn't inthe right headspace, I expected to be lied to and cheated. They did not do that. Instead I was made comfortable and guided through the process. It honestly confused me and i chose poorly. Today they corrected my mistake and gave me the smile i desperately needed. Thank you so much. Life lesson learned. Not all dealerships are scam artists. Update - My temporary tag expires Wednesday, 4/10/19. i have been working a month trying to get paperwork resolved. I have been working with Nick Seaton who is an amazing person but cannot seem to resolve my issue for whatever reason. I am afraid I am going to have to hire a lawyer to resolve this issue. It should never have to get to this point. Background: I bought a car that didn't fit and they offered to help me get into something better. I was so happy. I was assured all of the paperwork was in order and I should be able to just go the DMV and title the returned car and tag the new car instead of returning the first car and invalidating the sale. This allowed them to keep the commissions on the first sale and charge me sales tax on the old car and the new car. Made my payment much higher than I wanted but I was in the car i needed. But the paperwork given was not sufficient and now I will either have to park my new car and not drive it or drive it illegally. I have continually called and emailed and now I cannot even get a response. i would be more than happy to return the car and forget Laird Noller even exists at this point. I guess I will have to call a lawyer. Sucks. Update, In order to get an answer, I called them and the answer is that they are trying to figure this out. And once they do I still have to take another day off of work (I took a day off a month ago to make very sure that I was not scrambling to complete this last minute) AND I get to have a short paycheck. Yeah me! NOT!!! After my phone call Nick responded to my email. No answer but he did respond. More
