I thought these guys change under new ownership and they didn't. Chris the manager of the service department is rude and do not care about their customers of 15yr. They keep screwing up my husband car and w didn't. Chris the manager of the service department is rude and do not care about their customers of 15yr. They keep screwing up my husband car and we are over it. His car has been in the shop it seems like every 3 months for a month at a time. They had to tow it this time for the same reason it was there in Oct for a month. We have loaner car in our warranty and nobody seems to care we are down a car because you guys are screwing my husband car up more and more you touch it. Every since you guys put fluid in the wrong place almost 2 yrs ago in the engine our car goes to the shop 3 to 4 times a year for a month at a time. GIVE ME MY LOANER ITS IN MY CONTRACT! The last time I paid for a rental it took them 2 monthS to pay my back. FIX MY CAR CORRECTLY. More

I have held off on posting a review in hopes that things would be made right by LaFontaine but that has not happened. I even privately emailed the general manager and never heard a word back from him. My would be made right by LaFontaine but that has not happened. I even privately emailed the general manager and never heard a word back from him. My advice is to stay FAR AWAY from this dealership! I feel like I was defrauded and tricked in to purchasing a vehicle that all had issues and the communication with the people at LaFontaine is terrible! Here is just a few of the issues I have dealt with when trying to purchase a vehicle from them. 1. I emailed them on a Sunday and heard back the next morning. I gave the salesman a list of 3 vehicles I wanted to see and set up a time of 4:30pm to come in. When I got there, none of the 3 vehicles were there. This should have been my first clue to stay away! But, my friend who works at another dealership recommended this dealership so I continued my search with them. I told them the only requirements I had was heated seats and a remote start. 2. I settled on a car and traded in a vehicle. After writing a check, I found out the dealership doesn't even have the title for the vehicle so they couldn't sell me the car at that time. Also, there was work being done in the vehicle since they had just received this vehicle. 3. I put money down and was told the title should be in shortly. Meanwhile, I received a phone call from another person at LaFontaine asking if I was still interested in the vehicle. I said yes, I put money down on it and was told it was mine to purchase as soon as the title came in. The lady had no idea what was going on and said she would look in to it and either she or my salesman would call me back. I never heard from either one of them. 4. I finally got ahold of my salesman and he assured me the vehicle was mine (pending me test driving it and once the work on it was completed. ) He said the title should be in soon. 5. On Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, also the day before I was flying out for vacation, I received a phone call from my sales guy saying the title was in and the car was ready. I told him I would quick run to the back and then head in test drive and hopefully purchase the vehicle. When we got there, the car was not ready. We were lied to. At this point, I had already canceled my insurance on my trade in and put insurance on the new vehicle. 6. This is where I feel I was tricked. After telling me the vehicle was ready and finding out it wasn't, they told me I could purchase it now (before I left on vacation) and they would give me a loaner car until mine was ready. They said this is the only way I could have transportation other than calling back to my insurance company and reversing everything I had done. I spoke to a manager and he assured me they would deliver the vehicle to my house and swap out the loaner vehicle. So this is what I did... big mistake. 7. They told me the vehicle could possibly still be ready that same day but it works definitely be ready before we got back from vacation. They again promised that I could still test drive the vehicle when I got home to make sure I wanted it. 8. A week later, I hadn't heard anything so I called to find out what was going on. I got a different salesman who actually tried to help me and was amazing at communication. He ended up taking over helping me and pulled my salesman off the case. 9. He made sure the vehicle was fixed the next day and had it delivered to my house. I'm sure he wasn't aware of this, but the gas light was on... 10. I got home and test drove it and liked the vehicle but I noticed 2 things. The sunroof did not open or close and I couldn't figure out the remote start. 11. I texted the new salesman and he said the sunroof should have been fixed and he would look in to the remote start. 12. Found out there wasn't a remote start on this vehicle... another lie. 13. I was told the service manager would call me to set up a time to bring the vehicle in to service the sunroof and they would add the remote More
