I went in for an estimate to fix my ford. They charged me $135 to look at it and it didn't take 15 minutes. I ordered a vehicle with the agreement that the dealership would hold it until 2/1/23 - as this date corresponded to a work bonus. Shortly after the car arrived, the dealer breached our contract & dealership would hold it until 2/1/23 - as this date corresponded to a work bonus. Shortly after the car arrived, the dealer breached our contract & returned my deposit. On 1/18, dealer contacted me and offered to sell the car to me for same price. I am still in the market, but the unprofessional way in which the dealer treated me and threw away my original agreement is unacceptable. I would prefer to walk from Grand Rapids to Detroit and buy a car from another dealer who treats me with dignity and respect, than buy from Lafontaine. More

Be careful, look alll your numbers over and make sure they deliver on what's promised. The salesman agreed and when I got my car paid and signed for he then mentioned any used car only gets a half a tank unless I pay $25 for a fill up. More
