Long time Dodge/Jeep person and went into this dealer, on a Monday morning, for the first time after seeing an ad in the newspaper. Met Joe as I entered the building, went over the car lines, and decided on a Monday morning, for the first time after seeing an ad in the newspaper. Met Joe as I entered the building, went over the car lines, and decided on the vehicle that I drove out with. Turned in a Jeep Wrangler at a fair price and received a very good deal on a Chrysler 300. Very pleased with the whole experience. More
Anthony at Shuman was by far the most honest and helpful from all the other Dodge sales reps I worked with. He really went the extra mile to ensure I was purchasing the best car for my family. Most importa from all the other Dodge sales reps I worked with. He really went the extra mile to ensure I was purchasing the best car for my family. Most importantly, he was very patient while I changed the mind several time through the whole process. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. More

Terrible service department. Bought a vehicle there several years ago and now keep having to bring it in for the same problems over and over again. The service manager is defensive instead of trying t several years ago and now keep having to bring it in for the same problems over and over again. The service manager is defensive instead of trying to understand what the underlying problem(s) are, and then goes on to accuse the customer of complaining. Unbelievably bad way to handle customer service issues. Now at the point that I hope one day my repairs will be complete, I will use a different dealer for (warranty) service work, and will not buy the new minivan for my wife at this dealership. More
Most unfriendly and impatient people that I came across in a service industry. My car was making excessive noise and I took it in for a checkup, and the service person gave me laundry list of stuff amounti in a service industry. My car was making excessive noise and I took it in for a checkup, and the service person gave me laundry list of stuff amounting to more than $1000.00 "that could be wrong". I guess I was supposed to do a trial and error fixing of all those things and see if the noise went away. Any person with minimal knowledge on cars could have given me that list, I didn't have to go a Auto Service specialist and spend $82.00 to figure out that something was wrong with my car and it could be any one of the moving parts. In addition, I was explaining to the person when and how the sound started and he actually cut me off in the middle of my explanation and says "so what is your point?" More
My husband got pulled in by an internet advertisement. He was continually quoted a great price on a new car. Based on the feature set he received by email, it was a no brainer, we were going in to buy. He was continually quoted a great price on a new car. Based on the feature set he received by email, it was a no brainer, we were going in to buy. Turns out after we get down to the dealership, the price he was quoted was on a vehicle they no longer had in stock, and the details that he received were for a much more expensive car. We were told that they could locate us a very base model car to meet the pricing we received, or we could purchase a more expensive vehicle, but we couldn't have the price to match the feature set we received. We also didn't like the trade in value we were offered on our vehicle. The salesman challenged us to go elsewhere if we thought we could get a better deal. Turns out we did. We went to Dick Scott Dodge in Plymouth after dinner, just to walk around the lot. We thought they were closed. Dave came over to greet us and we explained our experience. He took us inside while he had our car appraised. $1500 more for our trade in right off the bat, no haggling. Turns out we bought an even more expensive car from Dick Scott Dodge because of the amazing service there. As for Shuman Jeep, I'd probably avoid them unless you want a poor trade in value, and confusing negotiations with regards to which prices go with which cars. Good hunting! More
This is the first experience I have EVER had with a dealership where they have kept their word. My initial experience with Chris was amazing. He was extremely prompt in returning my phone calls and p dealership where they have kept their word. My initial experience with Chris was amazing. He was extremely prompt in returning my phone calls and providing me with an estimate. He also provided it for me in writing via email. He then went as far as faxing over the purchase agreement, the vehicle window sticker and the manager's signature for approval before I even stepped foot in the door. When I arrived to pick up the car, I stood guarded, waiting for someone to tell me that the numbers they provided where incorrect, like all the other experiences I had prior. Instead, I was treated with respect and honesty. They honored their quote to the penny. I would highly recommend Chris and have already to my family and friends. This the first and only positive experience I have had with any dealership! Thanks, Chris! More
