As a Chrysler retiree, I can get pretty much the same price from any dealer but do not always get a good feeling about dealing with them. Beginning with my initial on-line inquiry, Don Goforth made me feel comfortable and confident that any deal we made would be handled without any hassle. We visited the dealership shortly after that, and were not disappointed. We never felt pressured, and Don answered all of the many questions I had over several additional days while we were deciding on which vehicle we wanted to lease. We finally settled on a Town & Country, and both Don and the finance manager did a great job with wrapping up the deal and delivering the vehicle to us. No upsell, no surprises, no anxiety. The lease agreement I signed at Shuman is the first lease/purchase of a vehicle I have made. The last dealership I went into was Shuman, and when I started talking to the sales person I dealt with, it became very apparent that this was the dealership I wanted to work with. Just was incredibly friendly and worked with me to get the exact vehicle I wanted in a price that was under my goal price point. Working with Justin and the rest of the people I interacted with at Shuman was a great experience, never once did I feel pressured into making a decision quickly or feel pressured into adding additional options or services into my lease. My last experience at Suburban Jeep in Farmington Hills was a nightmare! I was reluctant to bring my vehicle in, but knew getting splashed with gas was getting old. When I called, your guys told me to wait until the parts came in and to be sure there was as little gas in the tank as possible. I was notified within a week that the parts were in and arranged to bring my Durango in at 10am this morning. Stan met me and took great care of me. He arranged for Cody to drive me home. Cody was an extremely mature, professional and caring driver and person. He was kind enough to drive me safely home. He was so easy to talk and made me feel at ease. Three hours later as he promised, I received a call from Stan informing me my vehicle was ready. I had expected to wait at least 6 hours because when they say '3 hours' they usually mean '6'. Stan again arranged for Cody to pick me up and called me when Cody was on his way. Cody has such a great attitude and such ambition that it was refreshing. We talked all the way back to the dealership. Stan met us with my keys in hand and only asked for me to see the cashier because I needed proof of the recall repair. The cashier (unfortunately I did not get her name) too was friendly and upbeat. This whole experience was unbelievable and to make it even better, I went to look for my vehicle--I couldn't find it because it was shiny clean--they had washed it!! Never before had a dealership washed my dirty vehicle! Thank you Mr. Shuman, thank you and please thank your wonderful employees for caring what they do and for being great at it to boot!
