Service Beyond the CAll of Duty I started my 2008 Chrysler and drove it to the bank. Got back into the car and it started fine. Then when i made my next stop, the car would not tur I started my 2008 Chrysler and drove it to the bank. Got back into the car and it started fine. Then when i made my next stop, the car would not turn off. The key wouldn;'t work. Drove the car to the two dealerships in the area and neither dealership took the time to look or try to fix the problem without me leaving the car for the week to repair. Called Shuman Chrysler in Walled Lake where Tim Ferrin in service said bring the car in and let me look at it. I was frantic by this point since my wife needed the car for doctor appointments. Needless to say, Tim worked on the issue and fixed the problem. Others looked at it and it and gave up and said leave it for service. Tim fixed it and didn't charge me for his time. Next time Shuman is my first call. More

(??! First red flag. Didn't they already know?) -Re-explained what my appointment was for. -Manager then explained they wouldn't be able to look at it today. (??! What is the point of an appointment then?) -Manager continued, probably need to have it several days to have it looked at. Probably should rent a car. -I asked why nobody mentioned these details to me. -Manager said they didn't know what I was bringing the Jeep in for until I arrived. (??! Huh? Why ask for details of the appointment online then?) -Manager says they don't see those details ahead of time. Looked at me like I was crazy thinking they would. -Manager said, It is Friday so I would have a hard time getting someone to look at this anyway. (??! Say what? I have a job too, can I just stop working because it is Friday??) ** Four-time Jeep owner. I won't be going to Shuman again. Terrible customer service and appointment scheduling. *** More
