Steve Knapp is the man! I purchased a 2016 Jeep Patriot that had specific features and had to be traded from another lot. From the beginning, Steve took the time to explain to me in detail the difference between CVT & VVT, and then had me test drive both to feel the difference. He really helped me to make an educated decision. Here's the silly part... When I left the lot, I noticed a few cobwebs on the exterior of my new jeep. Thinking nothing of it, I brushed them off. In the next 3 days, I realized there were tons of HUGE spiders nested under the hood and in the doors who then started to get inside the vehicle. Steve did a little research and found that the lot it came from had some trees that my jeep had been sitting under out back. He had me come up and personally lifted the hood and carefully power washed inside/around all door trim etc. (in his nice dress clothes, mind you.) Steve is a pleasure to work with and even after the purchase will still make sure you're taken care of. The dealership overall has a nice, genuine feel that doesn't make you feel like you're being hustled or sold. Nice guys all around. More

They found my Unicorn! I went into Shuman Chrysler in Walled Lake to see what I could do about getting out of my truck lease early and into a new truck. ? I had the pleasure of working with Mike Yezak in the sales department. Mike listened to me explain where I was with my lease situation (going over my mileage with 6 months to go on lease) and what I needed both in my new lease and in my new truck. ? I love these RAM 1500 trucks, they are fantastic. This is my third one. I told Mike what I wanted in my new truck and that I intended to keep it forever (Delmonico Red, Bench Seat, Hooks, Skid plates, V-6 engine, 3:21 ratio...) After searching every dealer in 500 miles they found one, in Ohio. This just wouldn't work because that dealer wouldn't give it up! This truck was a Unicorn, nobody could find one available, anywhere. I know because I visited 2 other dealers and was told that truck was impossible to find I would have to order a new one when that was available. ? I really needed to lock in a great deal that was being offered by Ally (great financing company BTW) and I asked Mike to keep looking and lo and behold he found that the factory was building a couple that were extremely similar to what I wanted so he arranged to get one for me. I even put my name on it. The big difference was that these came with a few extra options I hadn't been interested in but also a couple I was interested in (bed liner and cover).? ? Mike found my truck and then... the factory lost it. The delivery estimate day came and went, no truck. Mike was personally upset for me and pursued this very energetically. He made calls and kept in communication with me every step of the way. The factory really seemed like they had lost it. They kept saying "It should be there by now" and of course we agreed, but it wasn't. ? I was hitting a crunch time because I was going on a long planned and paid for vacation that I had been counting on having my new truck for and I was getting concerned about being able to go. Enter Chris Brough, the new car Sales Manager at Shuman. Mike had already alerted Chris to this rather unusual situation with the factory and Chris stepped up knowing that I was heading for a long drive to the UP, he took it up the chain to Mr. Shuman who personally approved what Chris wanted to do for me and my family (it was a 1500 mile trip) and they gave me a RAM 1500 to use while we waited for mine to show up. ? When I returned my new truck was at the dealership but it wasn't quite what I had expected there was an option missing. I told Chris and Mike what my concern was and Chris said "If that's all I have to do to get you what you need and make you happy, consider it done". ? Chris (on the spot) arranged for the parts to be delivered, in my name and introduced me to Mike Weinstein the Service Manager and he explained the story to Mike W, who clearly, was personally interested in getting me taken care of. I dealt with Mike W in arranging a loaner for the day which was totally pain free and and I am completely happy with the finished truck. ? From the Service Dept (Mike Weinstein) to Sales (Mike Yezak) to the Management (Chris Brough) heck all the way to the owner himself, they took a personal stake in this customer, my family and my concerns and they blew way past all normal expectations and handled a bizarre Assembly Plant issue, made it there own and made me a customer for life. ?
